With one player even recreating Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver in their copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, plenty of Pokemon fans have been expressing their love for the popular game series.
Pokemon has always been a popular series and with efforts being made to allow Pokemon Go players to keep playing without risking themselves in the current environment, the love is still going strong. Here are some of the wonderful designs made by fans of both Animal Crossing and Pokemon.
Generation 1 – Kanto
For all the classic Pokemon fans or those who have favorite Pokemon from the first generation, here are designs made around the original 151. From Pikachu to Bulbasaur, there are plenty of designs to go around.
Generation 2 – Johto
Fans of the second generation of Pokemon can also have plenty of Johto representation in their wardrobe. While they can’t catch a shiny Gyarados by creating their very own Lake of Rage, they sure can dress like one.
Generation 3 – Hoenn
The original sea-side region is perfect for players living out their new island lives. With players being able to water-scape and terraform their islands, they can harness the abilities bestowed by the legendary pokemon, Kyogre and Groudon. Players can also imagine themselves as the leaders of Team Aqua and Team Magma, Archie and Maxie, if they’re feeling more evil than anything else.
Generation 4 – Sinnoh
Plenty of players are waiting for that eventual unannounced Sinnoh remake. In the meantime, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is here and players awaiting their reunion with the Sinnoh region can create and display their tributes to their favorite region.
Generation 5 – Unova
One of the most divisive regions, but extremely well loved by its fans, plenty of Unova fans have created tributes to their favorite games and region.
Generation 6 – Kalos
Known for bringing the mainline Pokemon games to the third dimension and introducing proper character customization, many of the changes introduced in Pokemon X and Pokemon Y stuck with the series up until today. This generation also brought many Pokemon that have become the favorites of many Pokemon fans all around the world.
Generation 7 – Alola
Another perfect fit for players that are living out their island lives is the Alola region. Alola is filled with many fan-favorite Pokemon that are sure to be loved by Animal Crossing: New Horizons players all around the globe.
Generation 8 – Galar
With the most recent generation of Pokemon getting DLC soon, players are hyped up for the new pokemon to return with more content and more adventures.
Trainers
One of the most important parts of the Pokemon games are the trainers. Players wishing to live out their dreams of being Pokemon trainers or players who simply just want to cosplay can use these wonderful designs.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
