The nonstop November events in Pokemon GO aren’t showing any sign of slowing down. This week brings a fresh Battle Raid rotation alongside the start of the Pokemon HOME Celebration event. This festivity in the mobile AR experience is jam-packed with features and bonuses to help celebrate the new PoGO/Pokemon HOME integration. The event kicks off today and players have until November 23 to enjoy the features and bonuses.

Alongside the new Battle Raid bosses and chances for shiny Meltan and shiny Slowpoke encounters, the HOME Celebration also delivers an exciting Timed Research storyline. This four-part challenge is full of great rewards and is a fantastic way to stock up on some Mega resources for players who have either run out or haven’t had a chance to experiment with the new Pokemon GO Mega Evolution system just yet.

The nice thing about the HOME Celebration Timed Research is how incredibly easy it is to complete. None of the tasks are very challenging or time-consuming and most players would be able to passively wrap up this chain with just an hour or two of playtime either walking around an area with good spawns and lots of points of interest or by burning through some Incense. As some regions return to lockdown or stay-at-home orders, it’s important for players to be careful and find the safest way to play during the event.

Keep in mind that the HOME Celebration research is timed, so trainers will want to work through the full chain and wrap things up before the event expires on November 23. Considering the difficulty of the tasks at hand, that should be no problem for players who get started today…

Stage 1

Transfer 5 Pokémon: 10 PokéBalls

Use 10 Berries to help catch Pokemon: Nidoran (F)

Catch 10 Pokémon: 3 Razz Berries

Stage Rewards: 20 Mega Pidgeot Energy, Slowpoke, 500 Stardust

Stage 2

That should be everything players need to know to get started on the HOME Celebration Timed Research and hopefully be ready to walk away with a ready to Mega Evolve Pigeot by the time the event is wrapped up. Be sure to choose wisely when deciding the right time to burn through those hard-earned resources and temporarily trigger a Mega Evolution.

As trainers continue working through these amazing events, they may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters and completing their Pokedex is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
