According to new leaks, the upcoming Pokémon: Sword & Shield: The Crown Tundra DLC will have players choose between Legendary horse Pokémon that can fuse with the expansion’s cover Legendary, Calyrex. While the names of the horse Legendaries have yet to be leaked, their designs and fusion forms are making their way around the internet only a few days before the Pokémon: Sword & Shield Crown Tundra DLC releases.

The Crown Tundra leak was inevitable as Pokémon has had a hard time keeping its new content under wraps. Days before the release of Pokémon: Sword & Shield, players were able to crack the game’s encryption and leak the entire game online. A similar instance happened close to the release of Sword & Shield’s Isle of Armor DLC which revealed every new and returning Pokémon. However, today’s leak come not from Pokémon: Sword & Shield’s files, but from a Pokémon HOME update.

According to notable Pokémon leaker CentroLeaks, dataminers were able to dig through an update coming to Pokémon HOME this Friday. This update allows trainers to store and transfer their Pokémon from the Crown Tundra DLC which also releases this Friday. The dataminers found icons for the Crown Tundra’s new Legendary Pokémon, including four new Legendaries that have yet to be revealed. These four are two new horse Legendaries that are allegedly ice- and ghost-type, and they are able to fuse with Calyrex to create an even stronger Legendary Pokémon. These new Pokémon can be seen in the image below.

– You can choose a horse, similarly to how you choose a tower for Urshifu. – Ultra Beasts are catcheable in the post-game. – Legendaries are unlocked as soon as you can access Dinamax Adventures – Main story is around 4 hours

CentroLeaks also claimed that players will have to choose between the two Legendary horse Pokémon. Similar to how in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Necrozma was able to fuse with Solgaleo and Lunala, Clayrex will be able to fuse with the horses to form the expansion’s premier Legendary. As seen above, the fusion is less of the two merging together but seems as if the two form a partnership, allowing Clayrex to ride them like, well, horses. Even though the horses’ models have been leaked, the names of the Legendary equestrians remain unknown.

There is still a lot that players don’t know about the Crown Tundra, such as whether or not these or other expansion Legendaries have the chance to appear shiny, how much of the National Pokédex will return, and how these mysterious new beasts tie into the story. Players will have to wait to find out until Friday when the Pokémon: Sword & Shield: The Crown Tundra releases – or whenever the next round of leaks spoils further secrets.
