Meghna has to navigate this difficult world filled with pitfalls and temptations. She finds success quickly, only to realize that she lost her identity and everything she believed in. Eventually, Meghna goes on to become a supermodel with more than just a few skeletons in her closet.

Priyanka plays the love interest, Kaali of the lead protagonist, Vijay, a gangster with a tragic past who is out for the blood of the terrifying mafia don who had had his father killed.
Kaali is a lovely woman, soft-hearted, yet feisty and it’s not long before she and Vijay fall desperately in love. However, Vijay stirred the hornet’s nest while trying to get revenge for his father’s death and Kaali is killed in a shootout almost immediately after her wedding to Vijay.
7 Dil Dhadakne Do (6.9)
This was a star-studded family drama with a huge ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Rahul Bose, and of course, Priyanka Chopra.
Priyanka plays a successful entrepreneur who has made it to the Forbes list of top entrepreneurs, solely on her own. However, in her personal life, she is not afforded the same respect. She finds herself in an unhappy marriage with a domineering man and her relationship with her parents is somewhat strained. The drama follows how the family of four, where Priyanka is the older daughter, irons out its differences and gets ready to make a new start.
6 Don (7.2)
This is a remake of a 1970s super hit movie starring yesteryear Bollywood megastar, Amitabh Bachchan. The movie revolves around the escapades of a mafia don and another young man called Vijay, a look-alike of the don, who is planted by the police to impersonate the former.
Priyanka plays Roma, whose brother had been a henchman of the Don’s and was killed when he wanted to leave the gang. She trains herself in martial arts and joins the don’s gang under false pretenses of seeking revenge for her brother’s death. She, however, finds out that the innocent Vijay had swapped places with him and falls in love, only to be betrayed in the end. Chopra stars here opposite the Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan.
5 Don 2 (7.2)
This is the hit sequel to Don, which ended with Roma realizing that the man she had loved as Vijay was the don all along, playing her and almost everyone else.
Don 2 begins with every major law enforcement organization in the world going after the don, who has now gone global in his exploits. Roma is still furious at having been taken for a fool, but she is a cop now and set on catching the don. But once again she finds herself caught in a web of intrigue, and ultimately charmed by the very man she hates so vehemently.
4 Bajirao Mastani (7.2)
This epic romance narrates the love story of Peshwa Baji Rao and the ethereally beautiful Marathi warrior princess, Mastani. Priyanka plays the Peshwa’s first wife, Kashibai, who is heartbroken when Mastani turns up in the court, proclaiming to be married to him.
Priyanka does a brilliant job as the dignified Kashibai who is deeply in love with her husband but accepts Mastani, in time. She demonstrates the most show of strength when she asks for Mastani to be united with Bajirao, hoping that the sight of her will save Bairao’s life when he’s severely wounded in battle.
3 Kaminey (7.4)
Priyanka plays Sweety, a girl caught between two twins, Charlie and Guddu, in the dark underbelly of Mumbai’s underworld. She is a firebrand who does her best to keep Guddu, whom she loves, out of trouble.
This hard-hitting drama saw Priyanka in a supporting capacity, but it proved her worth as an actor ready to take on empowering roles.
2 The Sky Is Pink (7.6)
This beautiful movie, based on a true story, followed the short life of the young author, Aisha Chaudhury, who passed away in 2015 at the age of 18 after suffering for years from pulmonary fibrosis and Severe Combined Immunodeficiency.
Priyanka played Aisha’s mother, Aditi, a doting mom who does everything in her power to keep her daughter alive and make life easier for her. The movie won hearts for its sensitivity in handling a profoundly emotional subject.
1 Barfi (8.1)
Considered one of Priyanka Chopra’s best performances to date, this movie is a beautiful tale of young Murphy or “Barfi,” as he navigates his complex feelings for two young girls, Jhilmil and Shruti.
Barfi is full of life and curiosity and is unable to hear or speak. He falls for the lovely Shruti, who loves him back, but then along comes Jhilmil and Barfi finds himself connecting with her differently. Priyanka Chopra plays the autistic Jhilmil and she delivers a power-packed performance as the adorable young girl who is both caring and fiercely protective of the man she loves.
