Real Housewives of Atlanta The Season 13 Taglines Have Been Revealed

Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta premiered last weekend and showed the returning housewives. Now, with future episodes unveiling the newest housewives, the new set of taglines for the season have been revealed. RHOA was rocked back in September after the show’s OG housewife NeNe Leakes announced her departure.

After starring on the show since season one, fans were surprised when NeNe revealed her exit on YouTube. She shared that failed contract negotiations caused the decision but there had been rumors swirling months before with claims she was fired. Since her removal, she has been promoting her new lounge and nightclub while the remaining housewives continued on with production. Returning housewives in season 13 include Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey, and Kenya Moore. Marlo Hampton returned as a friend of the show along with Tanya Sam and newest housewives Drew Sidora and Latoya Ali.

With the new season premiering on Sunday, fans got a chance to see the newest taglines from the returning housewives. Kenya Moore stayed true to her history of shade with her tagline. “If you don’t like my shade, then step out of my shadow,” she exclaimed, as reported by Bravo. Kandi used a play on words with her name, saying, “A little Kandi always helps sweeten the tea.” Cynthia Bailey used her tagline to shout out her new husband Mike Hill. “I’ve been through the peaks and the valleys, and now I’m head over Hills,” she shared. Porsha Williams has utilized her storyline this season to highlight the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement amid the pandemic. “I may be social distancing, but I’m here for social justice,” she declared.

Actress Drew Sidora is the newest full-time housewife who used one of her more memorable roles in her premiere tagline. “I was in The Game, but now? I’m calling all the plays,” she said. The friends of the show Marlo, Tanya, and Latoya typically do not get a tagline. They’re able to make their statements through their guest appearances. However, Tanya has been M.I.A. from the show’s production after the alleged “strippergate” scandal that took place at Cynthia’s bachelorette party. Ahead of her October wedding, Cynthia celebrated, in traditional fashion, with a bachelorette party where a male exotic dancer was present.

Following the event, there were reports that things got x-rated when two cast members allegedly got drunk and involved in a rendezvous with the stripper. Though the names were never revealed, Porsha and Tanya were soon identified as the alleged culprits. While Porsha has remained silent on the claims, Tanya got upset and has refused to return to filming. She hasn’t even confirmed if she’ll attend the reunion show.
