Much like its predecessors, Resident Evil Village offers players a wide assortment of weapons from handguns to rocket launchers, alongside a few special weapons. One of the most exciting special weapons in the game is the LZ Answerer, which is basically a lightsaber that players can use to hack and slash their way through Resident Evil Village.

However, eager fans who wish to get their hands on the LZ Answerer immediately should know that it can only be obtained after players are able to finish the main story once alongside completing additional conditions. Out of all the weapons available in Resident Evil Village, it appears that the LZ Answerer is one of the hardest to obtain, and here is a breakdown of how to get it.

How To Get The Lightsaber (LZ Answerer) in Resident Evil Village

As previously mentioned, the first step is for players to complete Resident Evil Village’s main story. After completing the game, players will be able to unlock the Extra Content Shop, where they must purchase Mercenaries Mode for 100 Challenge Points (CP). Although completing the game would reward players with tons of CP, some may find themselves having spent all their points on other items before being able to purchase Mercenaries Mode. Should this happen, players can simply return to the main campaign and redo certain tasks to earn CP.

After purchasing the Mercenaries Mode, players must complete all levels on the mode with a rank of SS or higher. Luckily, players can simply retry any level in Mercenaries Mode until they reach the necessary rank. This part could be a lengthy process that would require players to do levels over and over again to reach the SS rank. Once the player successfully finishes all levels in Mercenaries mode on SS rank, a message would pop up saying that players are now able to get the LZ Answerer from the Extra Content Shop.

To purchase the LZ Answerer, players must head into Bonuses from the main menu and select Extra Content Shop. From there, they will see the LZ Answerer categorized as a Special Weapon that is available to purchase for 70,000 CP.

According to the official description of the weapon, the LZ Answerer is a charged particle blade that the BSAA has developed. Once purchased, players can simply head back to the game and pick it up from The Duke. The LZ Answerer can be customized, and players can select Lightsaber colors like red, blue, and green. It may not be the most powerful weapon in the game, but it can kill most Lycans in two strikes.
