Since Bravo aired the first season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from October 2010 to February 2011, the series has been filled with drama. RHOBH was the sixth installment of the Housewives franchise, followed by the now-defunct series The Real Housewives of DC. The first season began with Kyle Richards, Adrienne Maloof, Kim Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Camille Grammer, and Taylor Armstrong. RHOBH quickly became a favorite amongst Bravo viewers, and still is to this day.
Since the reality series first aired, viewers fell in love with the ladies who have come and gone over the years. Not only have the women been part of some of the memorable moments in television history, but they’ve also brought some serious drama to the Bravo network. Here are a few of the most dramatic moments that took place throughout the ten seasons of RHOBH.
Taylor Armstrong’s Meltdown In Malibu
During an episode in season two, Taylor Armstrong got into a screaming match with a friend of Camille Grammer. Camille’s friend was upset with the way Taylor was treating Camille and confronted her about it. The former reality star was grieving the breakdown of her marriage to Russell and completely lost it. Taylor started yelling about how the friend had no idea what Camille did to her in the past. The moment is now part of an iconic meme that continues to make the rounds on the internet.
Lisa Rinna Throwing A Wine Glass
Lisa Rinna and Kim Richards were at odds for most of season five, but their feud came to a head during their first night in Amsterdam. Kim was fed up with Rinna always talking about her sobriety and relating it to her experience losing her sister to drugs and alcohol. Kim was unable to contain her hatred for Rinna and uttered the now infamous line, “Let’s talk about the husband,” referring to Harry Hamlin. Rinna was furious and reacted by slamming a wine glass on the table and screaming, “Don’t you ever talk about my husband!”
Adrienne Skipping The Season Three Reunion
After a long and intense season three, Adrienne Maloof did not show up for the reunion special. Andy Cohen, the host of every Housewives reunion, revealed to the ladies and the audience that Adrienne missing the show would be her last act as a cast member. The whole cast was shocked by her absence and was upset she wasn’t able to defend herself. It was no surprise she didn’t show up, as she threatened legal action against Bravo if they did not remove the footage of a rumor Brandi was spreading about her and her family.
Denise Finding Out About Brandi Rumor
One of the most recent dramatic moments in RHOBH history was when Denise Richards found out Brandi Glanville spoke about an intimate night the pair shared a year prior. Former cast member Teddi Mellencamp relayed the news to Denise and the rest of the cast during a group dinner in Rome. Denise adamantly denied the claims, even asking Bravo to not air the footage. She announced her departure from the series shortly after the episode aired.
Over the past 10 seasons, RHOBH has become one of the most dramatic series to come out of the franchise. From Taylor’s blow-up in Malibu to Denise finding out about the Brandi rumor, the ladies of Beverly Hills know how to cause trouble. Who knows what other dramatic moments season 11 will bring when the premiere airs on May 19.
