Riders Republic How to Change From ThirdPerson to FirstPerson View

One of the ways to make a few of the sports in Rider’s Republic easier is to switch from third-person to first-person, and vice versa. The first-person view lends itself well to the sports that require quicker reactions based on the terrain, like mountain biking. First-person can also make things feel a bit more true-to-life, and the first-person mountain biking in-game footage looks shockingly similar to real-life GoPro footage of professionals. Not all of the sports feel as good in first-person, and third-person allows for some pretty impressive in-game action shots.

Luckily, it is pretty easy to switch perspectives from third-person to first-person, and the other way around. It can be done at any point during the game, though changing mid-ride may be a bit disorienting in some cases. It is as simple as pressing a single button.

In order to change perspectives in Riders Republic, players can simply press down the right analog stick (R3) on whatever controller they use. This is the same regardless of the platform, and it is an extremely easy way to swap since players typically have thumbs on both sticks most of the time. If players need to swap in and out of first-person to ensure they can locate hard-to-find checkpoints, it is a pretty simple switch. Now, there is some question as to which perspective actually makes the game easier, or gives players an edge in Riders Republic’s multiplayer world.

How to Change from Third-Person to First-Person in Riders Republic

As for which perspective is preferred, third-person is generally considered the easier way to play most of the sports. This is not only because players get a wider view of the environment around them, but also because checkpoints can be tough to locate in the first-person perspective. Additionally, it is a bit easier to predict where players will land when looking from the bird’s eye view that third-person allows for. That being said, first-person does feel incredibly immersive, lends itself well to recording and streaming, and it does have some practical applications in certain circumstances. As a result, the ability to swap quickly and easily throughout the game can offer a best-of-both-worlds option for players.

Some Rider Republic players may have a difficult time in first-person perspective due to the increased feeling of speed in the game. Whichever option works best for players is up to them, and luckily Riders Republic allows racers to change perspectives whenever they deem it necessary.
