Microsoft has revealed a collection of ten games that are coming to Xbox Game Pass in the coming weeks, which includes the likes of Hades, Skate, and Dirt 4. These titles will further add to an already packed August that has seen the likes of Microsoft Flight Simulator and The Ascent made available to all subscribers.

Players have already been aware that Hades, a game that has won multiple Game of the Year awards and was critically acclaimed, was coming to Xbox. Supergiant Games revealed earlier in 2021 that the previously Nintendo Switch and PC exclusive was set to release for PlayStation and Xbox consoles in the summer. The developer also announced that it would come to Xbox Game Pass at the E3 Xbox & Bethesda showcase.

Microsoft has announced the latest games coming to Xbox Game Pass in August, with the official Twitter account for the service confirming that 10 new titles will be added across the cloud, consoles, and PC in the coming weeks. According to the post, players can expect to get their hands on Skate and Skate 3 alongside the likes of Curse of the Dead Gods, Dodgeball Academia, Lumines Remastered, Katamari Damacy Reroll, Art of Rally, and Microsoft Solitaire Collection: Premium Edition. Perhaps the biggest inclusion is Hades, which is coming to Xbox Game Pass on the same day it releases on Xbox platforms for the first time. The vast majority of the games are due to arrive on August 5, with Art of Rally becoming available on August 12 and Hades on August 13. Meanwhile, a separate post from Xbox Wire revealed that Dirt 4, Dirt Rally, Dirt Rally 2.0, F1 2020, and Grid are coming to EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on August 10 following EA’s acquisition of Codemasters.

It isn’t all good news for Xbox Game Pass members though. Final Fantasy VII is set to leave the service on August 16, a year after it was first added as part of a new partnership between Square Enix and Microsoft. It will join another high-profile departure in the form of Grand Theft Auto V, which has only been available since April 2021.

Xbox Game Pass has become an essential membership for Xbox players over the last year, with Microsoft continuing to add more value to it with high-profile releases and exclusives. August appears to be no different and fans will no doubt be excited to try out some of the new titles that will be made available in the coming weeks.
