Southern Charm Austen Kroll Calls Ex Chelsea Angel Compared To Madison

Austen Kroll from Southern Charm is trashing Madison LeCroy again, saying his ex-girlfriend, Chelsea Meissner, was an angel compared to her.

At the beginning of season eight of the Bravo reality series, Madison and Austen were still together, but at odds in their relationship. In a recent episode, Madison decided to finally end her three-year partnership with Austen. The decision came after the couple was on-and-off for the entirety of their romance. Even though the two were together for so long, the breakup was a long time coming.

While appearing on Watch What Happens Live last month, Austen was asked a question by a fan wondering if he would ever consider getting back together with Chelsea. He replied by saying, “Gosh, I mean, after going through what I went through with Madison, to look at someone like Chelsea would be like, ‘Oh my god, you are an angel sent from frickin’ Heaven.’” Although he added he and Chelsea have decided to stay friends after deciding they are too different to be able to sustain a healthy relationship. According to Reality Tea, it seems Chelsea may have dodged a bullet with Austen. Some Chelsea and Austen are so different because she wants a man with a job and more ambition in life. Plus, Chelsea did not return for the newest season as she found herself, at the time, a new boyfriend who refused to ever be on camera. Plus, Chelsea did not bring much to the show besides her past relationship with Austen and the brief love triangle with Shep Rose.

Austen and Madison confirmed their breakup in December 2020 after a tumultuous on-and-off relationship. Madison’s breaking point was Austen not adhering to the social distancing guidelines put into place due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic (via People). Madison felt Austen was being selfish and only cared about going out to party. She believed they were going to create this “tight-knit relationship” and get through quarantine together. Unfortunately, her plan did not go as she expected, and she felt she had no choice but to end the relationship. All in all, Madison felt Austen was not ready to be in a serious relationship.

Now that Chelsea is single again, will Austen try to mend his relationship with her? It doesn’t seem likely, as Chelsea has proved she can do much better than Austen.
