The massive success of Ted Lasso has taken the world by storm. The Apple TV+ series premiered in the summer of 2020 and has already won numerous tv awards, including several Emmy awards. Led by Jason Sudeikis, Ted Lasso follows an American football coach that is recruited to coach the AFC Richmond soccer team in England.

Episode 4 of season 2 follows multiple stories of how the characters of Ted Lasso acknowledge Christmas. After calling his son and wife, Ted joins Rebecca as they dress up and deliver gifts to children while Roy and Keeley spend the holiday with his niece, Phoebe.

The Hope that Kills You presents the fans with an emotional and explosive conclusion in the finale of season 1. The team faces off against Manchester City and their old teammate, Jamie Tartt. The game was a hard-fought battle, but AFC Richmond came up short in the end.
As a result, AFC Richmond was relegated from the Premier League. Even with the unfavorable outcome, Ted and Rebecca vow to work even harder in order to make it back into the Premier League the following year.
