Judging from the previews, it looks like Matt James’ season of The Bachelor will be a messy journey that we’re all going to love watching. The Bachelorette season 16 was a true rollercoaster ride that featured lead Clare Crawley quitting the show in order to be with her soulmate, Dale Moss, which she fell in love with in episode 1. Clare was then replaced mid-season by Tayshia Adams, who led the rest of the season and got engaged at the finale to Zac Clark. Nonetheless, it is no secret that Bachelor Nation had a hard time following along with Bachelorette in 2020.

From the looks of it, the mission statement of The Bachelor season 25 is to shake things off and show the fans that COVID-19 won’t slow things down. Instead of filming it at a La Quinta hotel, the series is back to its usual backdrop – a massive, beautiful mansion. Moreover, the upcoming season is going back to airing on “Bachelor Mondays,” unlike The Bachelorette season 16, which aired on Tuesdays or on Wednesdays depending on the week. All things considered, it feels like the 2021 edition of The Bachelor wants to make the fans feel comfortable once again.
