9 Andrew
Being one of the fan favorites, it’s a pity Andrew doesn’t get a lot of scenes on the show. When he does appear on screen, it’s always with a fun witty line that people can’t help but laugh at. His snarkiness might take a little getting used to but he says it all in good fun.
He’s fiercely loyal to the people he respects—as seen from his adoration of Jacqueline. He’s also really easy to talk to and he’s not afraid to throw hands to protect his friends (or their ladies) as he did in the season 4 episode, “Love.”
8 Oliver
At first glance, Oliver seems like someone who’s tough to get used to and expects nothing short of perfection in all things. But once you get to know him, there’s a sweet side you’ll definitely love. When it comes to work, he always means business and you can learn a lot from his dedication and passion for fashion.
That’s not to say people can’t go to him if they have a personal crisis. In fact, he gives great relationship, career, and fashion advice when you someone needs it. It might take him a while to open up about his personal life though, as evidenced by his struggle to tell Sutton about a custody battle with his ex, but once he does, people know that he truly trusts them.
7 Jacqueline
As a one-of-a-kind boss lady, Jacqueline will never steer someone wrong when it comes to their professional life. She’s very good at encouraging and pushing people to be the best versions of themselves they can be, even if sometimes it might feel or look like she’s being too hard on them.
Apart from her great work ethic, she’s always got good advice to give and people can always go to her no matter how big or small the problem is. While her position might make her seem aloof and unreachable, she always makes herself available to whoever might need her, whenever they need her.
6 Kat
If a person needs someone to support theur cause or help them speak out about something they believe in, then Kat’s the girl. She’s a confident, outspoken person who’s never afraid to challenge the status quo, even if it means losing her job. Beneath her tough, no-nonsense exterior, she’s the sweetest person people will ever meet, ready to help them through whatever crisis they’re going through no matter what.
She can be a little blunt though, but she’ll be gentle about it. So if someone’s her friend, they need to be prepared for the truth even when they don’t want to hear it because she’d never say it unless they needed to hear it.
5 Sutton
The young woman with big dreams; Sutton is an inspiration to many. It might take a while for her to make up her mind, but once she knows what she wants, she’ll stop at nothing to get it. She’s amazing at cheering her friends on through any trials and on their way to achieving their dreams.
Not to mention, she’s a fashion pro, so if someone ever needs help picking out an outfit for a date, seminar, church, or any occasion, they can count on her.
4 Jane
The word “strong” is barely enough to define Jane. She’s had an emotionally taxing journey, but she kept her head above the water through it all, proving that she truly is the bold type. She’ll support her friends through anything, whether they need someone to talk to, someone to listen, or someone to just silently binge ice cream with.
She can be a bit serious, but once she warms up to someone, they’ll feel like they’ve known each other for years. She’s also really considerate, to the point that she let her friends stay home when they were going through stuff rather than force them to attend a ceremony where she’d been nominated for an award.
3 Adena
Adena is proud of the woman she is and with good reason. She perfectly owns and represents every aspect of her identity and helps other women do the same. Her impact on Kat’s life, especially, is one that many fans love her for.
She’s helpful, kind, understanding, and truly a wonder to behold. She doesn’t let much hold her back and people can be sure that if they’re her friend, she’ll definitely take them along on the journey to a free, happy, and empowered version of themselves.
2 Richard
While his maturity can make him seem stand-offish at first, Richard is a sweet, caring, and sentimental person. When he cares about people, he’ll do anything he can to help them achieve their goals or dreams. He never holds anyone back from going after something they want, even if it might get in the way of something he wants to.
This selfless trait was shown from the sacrifices he made so Sutton could have her dream job. In fact, his relationship with Sutton made him a lot more laid back and open so you can count on him for an honest, insightful conversation.
1 Angie
After the touching and inspiring story of Angie becoming part of Scarlet when Kat fought for more diverse voices, even if they don’t fit the company’s outdated mold, she was barely present in the show. Her few appearances, however, did show her as a fun and friendly person.
She’s very relatable too so if people need someone who’s likely to understand something they’re going through as a young person, like struggling to get a job because they lack the qualifications or living paycheck to paycheck, then she’s the one to talk to.
