Over the years, The Challenge has grown from a competition that featured The Real World and Road Rules battling it out, into a free-for-all that includes some of the most insane challenges on television. They are even stars coming in from outside of the world of reality television.

The stakes are high, and the drama is even higher, which has been what has fueled the MTV reality competition for nearly a decade now. Also over this time, there have been a number of challengers who have amassed quite a lot of wealth in competing for glory. Some have gone on to earn a ton while on The Challenge.

10 Dee Nguyen – $255,000

Before she was fired from the series for her controversial Black Lives Matter comments, Dee Nguyen was a money-earning machine on the show.

She amassed a total of $255,ooo from the series, with a big chunk of that money coming from her win on Season 34, War of the Words 2. If she was still on the show, there wouldn’t be any doubt that she would move up higher on the list.

9 Wes Bergmann – $303,000

Some may find it preposterous that Wes ranks so low on this list, especially due to his near-mythical legend on The Challenge. However, while he has certainly cemented his reputation as “the guy everyone loves to hate” and is a proven winner, he hasn’t nearly racked up the money as other seasoned veterans have done.

Regardless, you can’t deny this man’s legend and reputation within the series, which few can rival.

8 Jenny West – $500,000

Like another player who will appear later in this list, Jenny West only has one Challenge season under her belt (Total Madness). However, she made that one season quite memorable, taking home $500,000 in prize money, winning the season along with the Titan of The Challenge, Johnny Bananas.

If she continues to appear in more seasons, West could very easily add to her growing bank account.

7 Chris “CT” Tamburello – $514,750

Chris “CT” Tamburello can certainly give Wes a run for his money in the “villain” role. However, this villain is also a proven winner and legend of The Challenge. Though he’s on the other side of his prime, CT has cemented himself as a legendary figure of these games.

His biggest win came in Season 34 (War Of The Worlds 2), in which he earned $250,000 on the way to winning the seasons, and he has more wins under his belt in amassing his astounding Challenge bank account.

6 Camila Nakagawa – $561,250

To some Challenge veteran fans, Camila Nakagawa is a relative unknown in the series. But she began making a name for herself on the series in a big way, winning Season 22 (Battle of the Exes) and Season 30 (Dirty 30).

She also managed to come in second place in Season 29 (Invasion). To put it in another context: Nakagawa has established herself as one of the series powerhouse players in the back half of the show’s history.

5 Cara Maria Sorbello – $602,250

There have been many dominant women who graced The Challenge but few have been as dominant as Cara Maria Sorbello. Her winning account grows with each Challenge, with her biggest gross coming on Season 31 (Vendettas), when she banked over $378,o00 on her way to winning the season.

Season 27 (Battle Of the Bloodlines), in which she won over $125,o00, was another big one. She’s a regular powerhouse in The Challenge and one that only Ashley Mitchell has a chance of upending as the series goes along.

4 Turabi “Turbo” Camkiran – $750,000

He only appeared in one season (War of the Worlds 1), but it was in that season that he proved that he had the talent and skills to carry on the legacy of The Challenge,

He took home $750,o00 by winning the season, making great use of his one season appearance on the series. With more Challenges on the horizon, one can only hope that we see more of Turbo in future seasons.

3 Jordan Wisley – $833,000

Jordan Wisley came into The Challenge and just kept raking in the prize money. He currently has over $830,000 in winnings, with his biggest win coming in Season 30 (Dirty Thirty) in which he won $450,000 in prize money.

He also won Season 34 (War of the Worlds 2) and Season 26 (Battle of the Exes II). All Wisley does is win, making him one of the major players in the new era of The Challenges.

2 Ashley Mitchell – $1,121,250

Viewers first saw how good Ashley Mitchell was in Season 29 (Invasion), in which she went all the way and won the season, taking home over $121,000 in prize money, which included over $21,000 from the Underdog’s team bank account.

To cement her place as a dominant player in The Challenge, she won the $1 million prize in Season 32 (Final Reckoning), and if she appeara in future seasons, she could see her bank account continue to grow.

1 Johnny Bananas – $1,184,720

There is no denying that Johnny Bananas sits on a throne all his own in The Challenge. He’s participated in more seasons than anyone in history and has amassed more wins as well. He’s also earned the most out of any Challenge player in history, scoring nearly $1.2 million in total earnings from the series.

The biggest victory of his Challenge career came in Season 25 (Total Madness), in which he won a cool $500,000. That win only cemented his status as The Challenge’s greatest player, one that will take time for the rookies to catch.
