The Family Chantel Nicole Reveals Motivation For Taking Part In Pageant

Nicole Jimeno has put aside her dramatic antics shown on The Family Chantel to try her hand at being Miss Universe Dominican Republic. The younger sister of Pedro Jimeno notoriously clashes with his wife Chantel Jimeno, née Everett, ever since the couple first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé. Nicole’s role as an antagonist has been upgraded for The Family Chantel season 3 as she plots with her best friend Coraima Morla to break Pedro and Chantel up. Off-screen, however, Nicole is focused on winning a pageant. She revealed new details about the competition to her followers.

Monday night’s new episode of The Family Chantel saw protective older brother Pedro having a tense conversation with Nicole’s married boyfriend Alejandro Padron. Though the two men failed to keep their cool, it turned out Nicole wouldn’t be upset about the bad blood. Pedro FaceTimed his sister so she could show off her breast augmentation surgery and reveal she was through with Alejandro. Nicole’s relationship with the married man strained her relationships with both Pedro and their mother Lidia, as they disapproved of her following in Lidia’s footsteps by sleeping with a man who was married to someone else. Meanwhile, Nicole debuted her makeover to Coraima, which saw her revealing she had also removed her braces after three years.

Nicole’s makeover led to her announcing this month that she is competing to be Miss Universe Dominican Republic, officially titled “Miss República Dominicana Universo 2021.” Nicole took to her Instagram, @nicole.jimeno, to reveal more about her pageant alongside a photo of her dressed in a floor-length high-slit competition gown. The English translation of the Spanish caption revealed more about the competition, which will take place on November 7. “God’s timing is perfect and of that I truly do not have the slightest doubt,” her translation reads as the reality TV personality explained how her faith backed her decision to compete. As always, Nicole’s best friend Coraima gassed her up in the comments. “😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Hermosaaa,” Coraima gushed.

Nicole also had her share of supporters who commented praise for Nicole’s glamorous appearance. While Nicole was once known for her signature braces, she appeared quite different in the pageant promotion photo. Though her makeover has earned praise from her followers, many The Family Chantel viewers noted Nicole now resembles her sister-in-law Chantel more than ever. However, others voiced that Nicole looked beautiful. “Congratulations and prayers for your journey,” one fan wrote. “So beautiful I hope you win,” one supporter gushed. “Wishing you much luck Nicole, you would make an awesome Miss DR,” another supporter wrote to her.

While Nicole’s physical transformation has been well-received by her followers, many think the Dominican Republic native needs to work on her attitude. Nicole’s attitude has made her a show villain, as she seems determined to cause drama and break Chantel and Pedro up. Nicole has been accused of being a vindictive sister to Pedro, as clips for the season show Nicole spitefully announcing to Chantel that Pedro and Coraima hooked up behind her back.
