10 Gizelle VS. Karen Season 1: Assigned Seating

When the ladies throw Karen a birthday party, the self-proclaimed “grand dame” of Potomac is put out when Gizelle doesn’t relinquish her seat. Karen confronts Gizelle at Charisse’s crab boil, presenting her with a framed list of dos and don’ts when attending a birthday party.

Karen should check herself and be thankful anyone bothers to throw her a party at all, especially when the guest of honor shows up three hours late. Gizelle doesn’t appreciate the gift or the attitude, telling Karen if she wanted Gizelle to move, all she had to do was ask. The conversation takes a downturn when Karen insults Gizelle’s wig and stomps off.

9 Gizelle VS. Charrisse Season 1: Gizelle Makes Herself At Home

After requesting Gizelle comes early to lend a hand at her crab boil, Charrisse, who is more concerned with her glam squad than the food, grows irritated by Gizelle and her uninvited plus one (hairdresser and gal pal Kal). Their behavior is a bit over the top for Charrisse’s taste who assumes a party pooper attitude, threatening to throw Gizelle and Kal out of her home. After dealing with Karen’s and Charrisse’s stank attitudes, Gizelle leaves the party with Kal in tow.

8 Gizelle VS. Monique Season 2: Failure To Vibe

It’s not love at first sight between self-anointed group “hazer” Gizelle and new girl Monique who even goes so far as to throw Gizelle out of her house and call her a “trick.”

Karen tries to bring the women together during a girls’ trip, encouraging the women to put aside their differences. Gizelle thinks Monique is insecure, crass and dumb, and Monique is convinced Gizelle is straight-up jealous. Monique is thirsty, Gizelle is jelly, and this feud makes the list simply because of its duration.

7 Gizelle VS. Candiace Season 3: Gizellw Warns Candiace To Come Correct

It doesn’t take new cast member Candiace long to mix it up, but her choice of sparring partners is out of her league. Candiace goes after Charrisse “jokingly” wants to know if her mother paid for Candiace’s engagement ring which isn’t a stretch since the 30-year-old’s mama foots the bill for everything else.

Gizelle comes to the defense of her long-time friend: Gizelle demands that Candiace apologizes to Charrisse. Candiace responds with “Shut the f**k up.”

6 Gizelle VS. Monique Season 4: Bygones Aren’t Bygones

After a rocky season 2, Gizelle and Monique learn to co-exist peacefully. That is until word gets back to Gizelle that Monique still feels that Gizelle doesn’t like her, showing little interest in her problems. When Ashley relays this information to Gizelle, she validates Monique’s feelings. Gizelle doesn’t like to dwell in the past, and she’s blindsided by this revelation. She chooses to confront Monique at Robin’s open house without any regard that she’s messing with her bestie’s business.

Gizelle decides to exact some revenge by attempting to cause drama between Ashley and Monique who are in the process of rebuilding their friendship. Monique’s “observation” about Gizelle’s behavior leads to the airing of everybody’s dirty laundry, and as a result, nothing gets resolved between the twosome. These ladies just can’t hold it together, attacking one another anytime, anywhere.

5 Gizelle VS. Katie Season 1: A Come To Jesus Luncheon Goes South

Season 1 shines the spotlight on an ongoing conflict between Gizelle and Katie regarding race. Katie identifies herself as biracial. Gizelle thinks Katie needs to pick a lane, commenting that she spends too much time trying to fit in with white people. Katie insists that Gizelle has to be biracial because of her green eyes, light skin and blond (dyed) hair.

Gizelle, whose father was a prolific figure during the civil rights movement, takes offense at Katie speaking on something she knows nothing about. Tensions between the women explode during the season finale when Gizelle accuses Katie of having a problem with being black, and Katie responds that Gizelle is a “stupid woman” who says “stupid things.”

4 Gizelle VS. Karen Season 3: Who’s The Bigger Backstabber?

Karen often feels Gizelle doesn’t have her back, but this time around it’s Karen who leaves her ride or die high and dry. The grand dame decides to invite Gizelle’s on-again-off-again boyfriend Sherman’s ex-wife, Kyndall, to one of her events — a serious breach of girl code.

The two accuse each other of the same crimes: not being a good friend, lying and backstabbing. Gizelle feels betrayed Karen welcomes a woman she deems as “thirsty” into Gizelle’s circle of friends. The fight is underscored by the appearance of a mime. This prevents the women from mending fences, but it does take the sting out of Karen calling Gizelle a “hot mess.”

3 Gizelle VS. Karen Season 4: Live Streaming In NOLA

In Season 4, old grudges come bubbling back to the surface when the ladies arrive in the Cayman Islands. Karen confronts Gizelle about trash-talking Karen’s decision to stay in her room and live stream on Instagram instead of going out with the rest of the group during a previous trip to New Orleans.

Karen claims she was still grieving the death of her parents and was using the time to reach out to well-wishers, but Gizelle isn’t buying what Karen is selling. Things escalate quickly when Karen accuses Gizelle of being unsympathetic, a “phony” and a liar.

2 Gizelle VS. Charrisse And Karen Season 1: Manners Part Two

After butting heads Karen and Charrisse at Charrisse’s crab boil, Gizelle extends an olive branch by inviting both women to lunch. Karen’s and Charrisse’s grievances are beyond petty and can be summed up as two women who think Gizelle’s behavior isn’t up to Potomac standards because she hangs with a hairdresser.

With Gizelle unwilling to back down, Charrisse calls her face “repulsive,” and Karen chastises Gizelle for not taking accountability for her actions, referring to her as “fake,” “phony” and a “lost cause.” At least Gizelle saves a few bucks since both women leave before the menus hit the table.

A girls’ trip to the French gets off to a rocky start when Gizelle questions the existence of Karen’s perfume line, and Karen takes some shots at Gizelle’s makeup business. Specifically, Karen has a problem with Gizelle’s business partner because Karen’s husband, Ray, wants to lick the woman “up and down and around.”

Karen is super shady about everything from her business ventures to her finances to her living situation to her marriage. The women get into a screaming match in the hotel lobby, and Karen has to be dragged out by Candiace.
