As the gaming community’s latest phenomenon, Valheim has become an outlet of endless creativity, and the latest example is the creation of a Taco Bell in-game. Iron Gate Studio’s Valheim entered early access on February 2, 2021, and the player base has steadily grown since then. Valheim was even the top-selling Steam game for more than two months after it became purchasable.

Earlier this month, Iron Gate Studio asked for players’ craziest creations. Gamers responded the only way they know how to: with no limits to imagination or creativity. Noteworthy Valheim constructions include a replica of the Bismarck battleship and Bilbo Baggins’ hobbit house. This is in addition to the various different castles and manors that have often been designed and built in the game already. With such a suddenly huge player count and an army of fans, Valheim is attracting a lot of attention and, therefore, a lot of headlines this way.

The most recent feat is a Taco Bell that actually has a Valheim-appropriate menu. User Takodaddy took to Reddit on Wednesday to present his masterpiece. They included multiple pictures to show off their hard work and included the quote, “Yall have your awesome Castles and Fortresses, I have my Taco Bell.” There are tables, ambiance, a kitchen, everything a Taco Bell needs. What’s on the menu? None other than their famous Neck Nachos, Lox Tacos, some Swamp Mist to wash it down with, and some other, equally appetizing items.

While it’s always heartwarming to see an indie studio make it big in the industry, Valheim can’t keep up with its own popularity, especially considering the sudden nature of it. Players somberly and eagerly await further updates having completed everything the game has to offer thus far. Thankfully, the construction aspect of the game is keeping players entertained in the meantime, almost like a new Minecraft.

Of course, this also leaves plenty of room for programmers to reach into their bags of tricks and develop mods for the game. Some of these Valheim mods bring entirely new features, gameplay styles, and world elements. Valheim has a long road ahead of it. It’s only in its third month on Steam, and now the world is watching. While support and love from gamers can spur a game’s development along, it can also put a great deal of pressure on the team behind it. The Valheim community is clearly invested, and it’ll be interesting to see just how Iron Gate Studio responds.
