A creative Valheim player has built an incredibly impressive obstacle course in-game, inspired by the dangerous courses in the platform battle royale, Fall Guys. The Norse mythology-themed survival game was released earlier this year in February, created by Iron Gate Studio, a Swedish indie studio of just five developers.

Despite being an early access game, Valheim has continued to figuratively fly off Steam’s digital shelves, with the game projected to sell 8 million copies by the end of June, a mere four months after its release. The game’s easy-to-use building feature has attracted many creative players to test their skills, building a plethora of inventive structures within the game. While some creations do require the help of mods to construct, big builds in vanilla Valheim are definitely very achievable and perhaps even more impressive, with one player building an enormous castle in the middle of the ocean without the use of mods.

The newest creative build made in Valheim comes from crafty Reddit user britzerland, who showed off a video of their obstacle course that was very much inspired by the platform battle royale, Fall Guys. The obstacle course is built high above the ocean in the Black Forest biome and features wooden platforms connected by moving logs that the player must skillfully maintain balance over as they traverse the course. It seems that balancing on the rolling logs is the main challenge in britzerland’s build, and the deadly task seems quite achievable within the video, as it features one lone Viking patiently taking on the gauntlet. However, britzerland has stated that they do intend to hold a race on the obstacle course, in order to truly bring Fall Guys to Valheim.

While a typical Fall Guys match can have up to 60 players battling it out on its courses, britzerland has stated they are unsure how many players Valheim’s servers could handle tackling the course simultaneously. This Fall Guys-inspired build is not britzerland’s first, the Viking architect previously constructed a massive skull with an obstacle course inside it, and is but one of the many incredible builds that they have created thus far.

Chaos is sure to ensue when britzerland decides to pit Vikings against each other in a proper race. It will no doubt also serve as an excellent way for players to pass the time as they wait for the first major update for the game, Hearth and Home. Scheduled for release sometime this year, the update will bring brand new building components and features that will no doubt pave the way for even more innovative creations in Valheim.
