Since launching with Iron Man in 2008, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has become a much bigger place, incorporating heroes and villains whose inclusion on the big-screen would have been unthinkable decades prior. While we know a lot already about MCU Phase Four and who will join the cinematic universe, there’s still a lot of mystery surrounding Phase 5. However, there are a lot of people Phase Four seems to be setting up for Phase Five, and in this video we’re going to take you through ten of them.

The most anticipated characters arriving in the MCU are those who Marvel Studios previously did not hold the film rights. However, after Disney acquired the rights to many of Marvel’s lost characters in its deal with 21st Century Fox, the possibilities are myriad, and they’re definitely going to inform who ends up on this list. The X-Men and Fantastic Four are coming, and thanks to the additions of Kang the Conqueror to Ant-Man 3, it seems like the latter will arrive sooner rather than later. Marvel’s First Family is sure to be a welcome addition to the MCU, and there’s a good chance they’ll appear in Phase 5.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, it’s not totally clear just what shape the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will take. While there’s a good indication the characters Disney acquired from 21st Century Fox will soon arrive, there’s not much solid information on just when or how that might happen. Right now, it’s unconfirmed when many of these characters will join the MCU, though there’s a good chance they’ll arrive in Phase Five, if not sooner.
