What GTA 5 On PS5 & Xbox Series X Consoles Needs To Add

Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 5 is coming to Xbox Series X and PS5 eventually, and there are many things that players want to see. Being seven years old, the next-gen remaster gives GTA players something new and big to look forward to while they wait for GTA 6, and marks the game’s official release on three different generations of consoles. Being one of the best-selling games of the decade, many GTA 5 players are very excited to see what Rockstar brings them in 2021. However, many believe that GTA 5 will be around $70 on release, due to Take-Two’s premium next-gen pricing.

Rockstar is trying its best to grow the player base of GTA 5 to even more than it already is. It is very likely that, at the bare minimum, GTA 5 will feature updated graphics to fit the PS5 and Xbox Series X console’s specs, and to make Los Santos look even more beautiful than it already is. Ray-tracing is also a promising feature that many other games are upgrading to, so players may see this present in GTA 5’s environment as well.

One major problem many players seem to want fixed is how dumb the NPCs and AI are in GTA 5. Many AI don’t know how to drive properly at all, and also don’t know how to react when they hear gunfire. Having more realistic AI would mean more realistic situations, furthering the enjoyment of GTA 5 and making for a more immersive experience. Giving AI different reactions depending on the situation would be a lot better for players, kind of like how Rockstar has shown in Red Dead Redemption 2.

With Rockstar constantly releasing new DLCs in GTA Online, some players have spent years saying a new DLC strictly for the single-player mode, which could give players more to do after they finish the full GTA 5 campaign and side missions, is desperately needed. Giving players a chance to either learn a little more about a character and their backstory, or to simply expand the campaign from where it ended off, would be a great idea that gives players more to experience in GTA 5 and would justify the cost of buying the game once again.

The current map of GTA 5 is so iconic that many players can likely tell which game it is just by seeing skyline. However, many want a map expansion, giving players more to explore and more variety to experience. While there are some rumors that new locations could be added to Grand Theft Auto 5’s explorable world, nothing has been said officially about expanding either the map or the amount of available missions in the single-player campaign.

There’s very little that is actually confirmed to be coming to the Xbox Series X and PS5 versions at the moment, so the only thing players can do right now is wait until Rockstar Games releases more information about GTA 5’s newest remaster. If some of these things do actually come to the game, it could look very different than it is now, completely changing gameplay and the environment players are currently used to. This might make Grand Theft Auto 5 more fun for veteran players, and give new players more variety as well.
