Though flashback sequences, A Fall from Grace on Netflix shows the crumbling of a marriage, and how Shannon emotionally abused his wife and manipulated situations to his advantage.

Like most crime procedurals and erotic thrillers, A Fall from Grace includes a big twist that gives previous scenes new meaning. Perry and Netflix will be keeping a close eye on A Fall from Grace’s streaming stats to determine if people are tuning out right away, or if they stay for the majority of the film. If A Fall from Grace shows that many streamers are “watchers” or “completers” who stick around for 70 to 90 percent of the film, then expect A Fall from Grace 2 to be produced.

Perry writes, directs, and produces his own films. He also tends to release them every year. If A Fall from Grace turns out to be a hit for Netflix. or at least a popular movies amongst subscribers, then Perry could produce A Fall From Grace 2 either later this year or sometime next year, depending on the cast and crew’s availability. Expect A Fall from Grace 2 to release around February 2022, if it does indeed happen. It’s worth noting, however, that A Fall from Grace took only five days to shoot, so it’s possible that a sequel could receive a 2021 release date, at least if there’s a high demand for another Perry Netflix thriller.

What A Fall From Grace 2’s Story Would Be About

A Fall from Grace ends with Sarah stating in court that Grace admitted to killing Shannon. As for Jasmine, she can sense that something’s not quite right, but doesn’t help her case by making poor decisions in court. So, Grace heads to jail, unaware if she actually did kill Shannon, if only because his body disappeared after she beat him repeatedly with a baseball bat.

Jasmine learns the shocking truth when she discovers that Sarah has been locking up old ladies, which connects to the film’s opening suicide sequence. Shannon re-emerges, injured but alive, but gets killed by Jasmine’s husband, Jordan (Matthew Law). It’s revealed that Shannon is actually Sarah’s son, and that their real names are Maurice and Betty Mills. Not only that, but they’d been defrauding innocent women for 25 years. A Fall from Grace ends with Sarah/Betty beginning a new scheme – the likely foundation for a sequel storyline. Or perhaps Perry will choose a brand new story for A Fall from Grace 2 on Netflix, possibly with new characters.
