It’s as simple as pressing a single button to grab items, so it’s likely the player’s inventory will grow with things they will never use. Holy Water can be purchased from Hopkins the Marvelous in Springvale, Mondstadt for 300 Mora. Players are only able to purchase one per day. When the player uses it, they will gain 1 HP every second for 20 seconds. This is basically a joke item. There are tons of other food items that can do this job better. Not only that, but the Holy Water itself is a sham. Players can actually witness Hopkins bottling up the “Holy Water” from the local pond, making it just regular pond water with no special properties. It doesn’t serve any purpose besides being completely useless. Every game has its set of duds and the Holy Water is one of the worst items available in the game.

It’s a bit humorous to see Hopkins go out of his way to scam the residents of Mondstadt. This joke item does add a bit of character to Genshin Impact, a game that typically takes itself pretty seriously. It’s strange that it has a purchase limit though. Hopkins must be making a killing selling his lies.
