Where to Find Lost Sector Perdition in Destiny 2 Beyond Light

In the Destiny 2: Beyond Light expansion, players will get the chance to explore Europa, one of Jupiter’s moons, and confront Eramis as she uses the power of the Darkness to destroy the Traveler. As players explore, they will experience breathtaking new environments, discover new loot and perks, and find hidden locations and collectibles. Throughout the different planets and regions in the game, players have stumbled upon Lost Sectors. These are smaller, somewhat contained areas for exploration that contain tons of enemies, a small boss fight, and chests and caches of loot and equipment that includes glimmer and engrams. Master and Legendary Lost Sectors are also currently the only known source of the Exotic armor available in Beyond Light.

There are three Lost Sectors on Europa: Perdition, Bunker E15, and Concealed Void. There are also two other Lost Sectors in the expansion, Exodus Garden 2A and Veles Labyrinth, but these are located in a separate area, the Cosmodrome. On Europa, players can begin exploring the Perdition Lost Sector as soon as they complete the first campaign mission of the expansion. The Perdition Lost Sector is located in the Cadmus Ridge region of Europa and is an icy cavern for players to explore. This location may be important to certain questlines or to fulfilling bounties, and players can go back after the main campaign of Beyond Light to unlock any of the locked chests and get Europa armor pieces. Here’s how to find the Lost Sector Perdition in Destiny 2: Beyond Light.

Where to Find Lost Sector Perdition in Destiny 2: Beyond Light

Though the Lost Sectors can be explored at any time following the initial campaign mission of Beyond Light, players may not be able to survive these areas if they aren’t at a high enough power level. The enemies in Perdition specifically fall around 1200 Power. Though they can be avoided by flying or remaining invisible, players may want to wait a little while before charging into this Lost Sector. Some players even choose to wait until after completing Beyond Light’s campaign to reach a higher power level, better survive Perdition, and be able to unlock all the sealed chests inside.

To reach Perdition, players will need to head to the Cadmus Ridge and travel northwest. Facing north, players should see a large cliff. Move toward the cliff and to the right. Below the cliff face, players will see a set of caves with the yellow Lost Sector logo on a chunk of ice between the two entrances.

Players will want to choose the rightmost entrance to go underground. From this point, they simply need to follow the path until they reach the door to Perdition. They’ll know they are in the correct place if they follow the yellow hallway and reach the yellow wall.

Though the drops are not guaranteed, Perdition is the place to find the Europa Legs in Varik’s armor quests. This piece of equipment will provide a Power bonus to the player.
