The Affair—one of the most captivating dramas of the last decade—ended in November 2019 after five seasons. Loyal fans would have preferred a scenario where the series got a 10-season treatment like police procedurals but sometimes it’s good to wrap things up on a high.

Though he was the chief protagonist, Novelist Noah Solloway (Dominic West) wasn’t the only light that brought life to the show. There were over a dozen compelling characters that were easy to root for or root against. Here are the fan-favorite characters and the zodiac they represent.

12 Joanie Lockhart – Aries

The Aries person is confident and fiery. She is also determined. When the show moved to the future timeline, Joanie was more than determined to find out what really happened to her mother Allison. She wasn’t buying the official story claiming that she committed suicide.

But Joanie was also impulsive and short-tempered. She lashed out her husband Paul without proper reason and did the same to Michael, the man she was having an affair with. Her decision to have an affair and leave Paul was impulsive too. She later regretted it and came back to her husband.

11 Hellen – Taurus

People under the Taurus zodiac tend to be responsible, reliable, and devoted. Hellen is a responsible mother who does her best to make sure her children are well taken care of. She is also a reliable person who steps up whenever there is a problem.

Hellen has been completely devoted to every man she ever loved too. She was always there for Noah, even when he was slapped with a major scandal after their divorce. She was devoted to Vic too and took good care of him when he had cancer.

10 Alison Bailey – Gemini

Geminis are passionate about various things in life but they are often undecided when it comes to love. This sums up Allison perfectly. She was never quite sure who she really wanted between Noah and Cole.

Geminis also have a weakness of agonizing over various things in their lives. Allison felt that she wasn’t achieving as much as she’d love to. She felt that there was so much pain and suffering in her life. She even had suicidal thoughts at some point. Unfortunately, she was murdered by her ex-lover Ben Cruz in a very brutal manner.

9 Furkat – Cancer

Cancers are good at what they do and Furkat demonstrated this in his career. He was a successful artist and at some point, he employed Whitney as his assistant. Whitney fell for him but he only used her for sexual pleasure while sleeping with other girls at the same time.

Common weaknesses of Cancers include being possessive and manipulative. They can be distant too without a proper explanation. Furkat was controlling towards Whitney and when she proved to be independent, he cut her off. He even went to the extent of sexually assaulting her.

8 Whitney Soloway – Leo

The oldest daughter of Hellen and Noah wasn’t known to make the best of decisions. She had a good man in Colin but still took him for granted and cheated on him. She also enjoyed arguing a bit too much.

One of the weaknesses of Leos is self-centeredness. Whitney only thought of what was best for her and in the process, she hurt her man. But she also had the Leo strengths of creativity and cheerfulness. She was an artist who had a bubbly personality.

7 Cole – Virgo

Virgos are practical, hardworking, analytical, and honest. He bought a diner named the Lobster role and turned into a very profitable business. He was also a bit too analytical about his relationships. His overthinking led him to depression when he broke up with Allison.

His tendency to be overly critical also put a dent on his relationship with Luisa Leon. And like most Virgos, Cole was all work and no play. He was rarely seen having fun. Everything about him was about relationships, children, and work.

6 Sierra – Libra

Libras are known to be very social and likable. They also enjoy grabbing opportunities and making steps first then thinking about it later. When Hellen and Vik moved into the new neighborhood, Sierra was overly friendly with them.

She became too close to them that the ended up having an affair with Vik and getting pregnant. Despite her transgressions, Hellen never really hated her. She still helped her in taking care of the child. A Libra weakness that was evident in Sierra was self-pity. She pitied herself for raising a baby without a father.

5 Ben – Scorpio

Scorpios are known to be brave and as a military veteran whos served two tours in Afghanistan, Ben ticks this box. They are also passionate and desire to be loved. This is evident from the way Ben pursued Allison and tried to make himself the love of her life.

However, Scorpios also tend to be demanding, aggressive, and sometimes violent. When it looked like Allison was backing out of their relationship, Ben couldn’t handle it. He confronted her, became violent, and eventually killed her. He then made it seem like she committed suicide.

4 Sasha Mann – Sagittarius

The Sagittarius person is generally fun-loving and determined to live life to the fullest. He is adventurous and fun to be around. It is these traits that made Hellen fall for the popular Hollywood actor Sasha so deeply. He added spice in her life that she wasn’t used to getting from men like Noah.

But Sagittarius people have their weaknesses too. They promise more than they are able to deliver. An example of this could be seen when Sasha promised someone he was going to make their movie then changed his mind at the last minute. He constantly said things that were hurtful too and this is another Sagittarius trait.

3 Janelle Wilson – Capricon

Capricorns are good managers and they often find themselves in positions of leadership. As a school principal, Janelle reflects this trait. Capricorns are disciplined too and Janelle showed this by remaining calm when she was racially discriminated against at an event and by her superiors at school.

A major Capricorn weakness is stooping low or settling for less. Janelle ignored Noah and went back to her husband who wasn’t really a good man. After dating Noah for a brief period, she chose to snob him rather than let him know that things had really ended.

2 Vik – Aquarius

People under the Aquarius zodiac are known to be very intelligent. They are visionary too. As one of the most successful surgeons in the country, there was never really a reason to doubt Vik’s IQ.

Common Aquarius’ weaknesses include being unable to compromise and being distant. In a node to Walter White, Vik was unwilling to get treatment for his cancer despite being a medic himself and prefer to just live out his last days in peace. He was also distant and never really opened up about his pain to Hellen

1 Noah Solloway – Pisces

Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac and people born under it tend to be artistic and creative. As a best-selling author, Noah happens to be creative too. He was able to write a fictional book best on the events in his life. He has also served as a lecturer for creative writing.

People with Pisces as their zodiac also tend to be sad due to unfortunate events surrounding their lives. They thus do whatever they can to escape reality. Noah wasn’t happy in his marriage in the beginning and that’s why he went on to have an affair with Alison.
