Disney Princesses might be magical but they can also be relatable. Here are the Disney Princesses and the zodiac signs they best represent.

Over time, Disney has given audiences so many elegant princesses. From brave ones. like Mulan and Pixar’s Merida. to calm ones. like Snow White and Cinderella, each is unique in their own ways. Although most of them are only based on fairy tales and some of their personalities are too unrealistic for the real world, there are certain things that one can pick from each princess that makes them relatable.

Adding that to the age-old belief that one’s character can be associated with a zodiac sign, and it would be fun to see which Disney Princess someone is most like.

There are twelve official Disney princesses from classics like Ariel in The Little Mermaid and Jasmine in Aladdin, but there are new princesses being added every year like Tiana from The Princess and the Frog and Moana. There are three other characters that aren’t part of the official Disney princesses but they still appear in Disney movies and are princesses with their own unique personalities.

15 Scorpio – Elsa

Elsa is a Disney princess and eventual queen in the movie Frozen and has a similar personality to the Scorpio personality. Elsa has had to keep her powers a secret for her entire life, especially from her sister Anna, because she’s afraid that she will hurt someone with her powers so she hides them away.

Elsa is a resourceful, passionate, and brave character when she breaks free and lets go of all of her stress and secrets.

14 Sagittarius – Anna

Anna is the younger princess and sister to Elsa in Frozen and has a personality that is similar to the Sagittarius personality. She’s an idealistic character as she wants everything to work out perfectly for her and her sister and is generous with her belongings and home with the people of the town.

Although Anna tries her best to be formal, she doesn’t have much of a filter and it adds to her charm that she’s unable to hide any of her personality even if she ends up saying the wrong thing or embarrassing herself.

13 Taurus – Vanellope von Schweetz

Wreck-It Ralph stars Ralph who is trying to stop being a villain in his video game and he befriends Vanellope while visiting her racing game. At first, Vanellope is an outsider, who isn’t allowed to race in the games because she’s a glitch, but then it is revealed that she is the star of the game and as a princess, she interacts with other Disney princesses in the second movie.

Vanellope’s personality is similar to the Taurus personality because she’s determined to become a racer and will stubbornly do anything to achieve her dream.

12 Aries – Merida

Aries people usually tend to be the first to act with their courageous and spontaneous nature – giving them less time to decide. Eponymous to the title of the movie, Brave, Princess Merida is very brave.

From climbing the highest rocks to shooting arrows as she rode her horse in the dense forest, Merida loves adventures. However, her impulsive nature ultimately led to her mother and brothers being turned into bears. Putting all of it together, Merida is definitely an example of the fire sign Aries.

11 Taurus – Tiana

Taureans’ determination combined with their practicality are two factors that play a crucial role in their success. Princess Tiana perfectly fits this aforementioned description. Throughout the movie, she was committed to saving money in order to build her own restaurant, as her father dreamed of. We saw her work two jobs.

Be it making beignets for Mardi Gras or agreeing to kiss the frog version of Prince Naveen, Tiana made sure that she made enough money to fulfill her dream. This brings out her materialistic trait, another thing that makes her similar to Taureans.

10 Gemini – Cinderella

As the first air sign in the line of zodiac signs, Geminis are very lively and amicable. Despite having so much work to do, Cinderella always seems cheerful. Moreover, there is a myth that this zodiac’s symbol is a twin because it doubled itself to cope with its workflow, which is something Cinderella can relate to because of all the work she has to do in her own household.

Cinderella asks her stepmother for permission to attend the ball and asks the guards if she can try the shoes, showing that is willing to fight for the things she wants while also being eloquent.

9 Cancer – Ariel

The first thing that probably comes to one’s mind when someone thinks of the zodiac sign Cancer is the crab – an animal that can exist in land and water. In addition to this similarity, the mermaid princess Ariel’s character also makes her a Cancer. She is very emotional and loving.

Moreover, it is said that it takes time for others to understand the people of this zodiac sign because of their hard exterior. Likewise, Ariel’s father did not understand her love for Prince Eric but only perceived her as being stubborn and clueless. In all these aforementioned ways, people of this water sign can relate to Ariel.

8 Leo – Moana

With the king of the jungle – lion – as the zodiac symbol, Leos are great leaders, especially for their passionate, optimistic, and protective traits. It is no doubt that Moana has all these traits, making her very similar to Leos.

As a potential leader for her clan, Moana went across the ocean despite all the dangers that lurked there. She was positive that she would be able to bring back vegetation to her land by going on her quest to return goddess Te Fiti’s heart that was taken by the demi-god Maui. Like Moana, Leos are optimists too.

7 Virgo – Jasmine

Virgos are most likely to achieve the greatest heights in their group because of their tendency to set high goals for themselves that they work hard to fulfill. They also aim for perfection. Likewise, Princess Jasmine says that she has been preparing all her life to take over the kingdom after her father.

Given that she is well aware that Agrabah’s law doesn’t permit her to become a sultan but she still educated herself for it shows the high goals she sets for herself. Her ‘aim high, reach great heights’ attitude classifies her as a Virgo.

6 Libra – Snow White

Given that Libras are extremely sociable and great listeners, they easily make a lot of friends. Likewise, Snow White was very charming and easily befriended the animals and the seven elves in the forest.

Even the elf named Grumpy, who was wary of her at the beginning, started to find Snow White charming over time. Although she is very young, she knew how to survive in the forest by helping the elves. It shows that she is naturally clever and so are the Libras. Thereby, Libras are quite similar to Snow White.

5 Scorpio – Rapunzel

Scorpions are known to be determined and persistent, and one princess who has both these qualities is Rapunzel. It is brought out by the way she goes outside the tower to see the lanterns on her birthday. Despite the constant rejection of her fake mother, she goes on to do it.

People under this sign are very strategic, and the fact that Rapunzel took Flynn Rider’s sachet in order to get what she wants shows she is too. For all these characteristic traits, anyone under this water sign can associate themselves with Rapunzel.

4 Sagittarius – Mulan

Sagittarians are known to be courageous and adventurous. Given that Mulan is a warrior princess, it is self-explanatory that she is fearless and it perfectly matches the archer on a horse symbol of this zodiac sign. Unlike some of the other princesses, she did not wait for her prince and she did not look forward to settling down. Mulan was not thrilled with the idea of getting married. Likewise, people of this sign don’t like to be held down.

Instead, when the king ordered every family to send one man to fight in the army, Mulan bravely went in place of her sick father. All these things make her a typical Sagittarian.

3 Capricorn – Pocahontas

Capricornians are responsible, practical, and sensitive. They are self-reliant people who follow their hearts. Likewise, the Native American princess – Pocahontas – decided to follow the spinning arrow in her dreams.

Instead of choosing war, Pocahontas decided to help John Smith who her people saw as a threat. Her calm and collected nature also helped her make better decisions. Moreover, the way she tries her best to stop the war shows her sensitive and assertive nature. Putting all these together, Capricorns can see a great deal of themselves in Pocahontas.

2 Aquarius – Belle

Aquarius is an air sign associated with friendliness and selflessness. In that regard, Belle not only befriended all those people who were turned into things but she was also humble enough to stay at the Beast’s castle and do whatever she could do to help them out. She even helped the Beast who literally arrested both her father and her.

People under this sign also love their independence and Belle is someone who loved reading by herself. In all these ways, Aquarians and the French Princess Belle are kind of similar.

1 Pisces – Aurora

Pisces, a zodiac sign that is related to kindness, selflessness, and unworldliness. These three words also describe Princess Aurora perfectly. She is very considerate and sympathetic towards the three fairies who live with her and protect her from Maleficent.

People under this water sign are also romantics, something Aurora proved to be when she said she saw her prince “once upon a dream.” Coincidentally, this princess is also naive due to living in the forest for a very long time, a trait that can be associated with this last water sign.
