One of the most beloved characters in DC Comics and all of fiction is Diana Prince, a.k.a. Wonder Woman, who only continues to grow in popularity every year. From comics to having adventures on-screen, particularly with Gal Gadot’s version in the DCEU, Wonder Woman has a massive fanbase all around the world. And with such a big fandom behind her, comes the joy of fan-art and memes. While there certainly many great aspects to Diana’s persona, just like with any other character, there are few things that can be taken comedically.

In many ways, memes serve as companion pieces to characters like Wonder Woman. With that said, these are just 10 of the most hilarious Wonder Woman memes of all time.

10 The Steve Of It All

While the Marvel Universe has Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, the DC Universe has Steve Trevor as its most iconic Steve and the love of Diana Prince. With both characters having appeared on the big screen, they have both, unfortunately, hit a similar tragic fate that involved planes.

Even though one of them came back almost a decade later, Trevor wasn’t as lucky. But given that he is in Wonder Woman 1984, perhaps he will have a second chance at life.

9 Be Mindful Of Your Surroundings

Whenever someone is shooting at Diana, it’s always amazing to see her deflect any bullet with her famous gauntlets. But as visually amazing as it looks, there is one thing that a lot of Wonder Woman stories don’t take into the account: whenever a bullet is bounced off, it has to go somewhere.

This meme perfectly exemplifies how, realistically, someone could be hurt or even killed if Diana isn’t mindful of her surroundings.

8 A Hero’s Shield

Since they both joined the cinematic screen, Wonder Woman and Captain America have had some amazing fight sequences that involve their shields. However, there is one hero that exists in the MCU who has his own version of a shield that Diana and Steve probably wouldn’t approve of.

While it certainly wasn’t on purpose, Hawkeye did, more or less, use Quicksilver as a human shield in the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Had Diana been there when Quicksilver bit the dust, she probably would have had a word or two with Hawkeye.

7 Captain America Being A Fan

The scenes with Diana as a child was one of the most compelling aspects of her first film as viewers got to follow her life on Themyscira from childhood. One of the most memorable elements was how determined young Diana was to become a true Amazon and begin her training.

Had Captain America been around to hear Diana demand a shield of her own, she and Steve would have become friends pretty quickly.

6 Doomsday Having Nothing On Diana

Diana made her DCEU debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as the DC Trinity came together for the first time in live-action. While she only had a handful of scenes, Diana certainly played a big role in the final act. As Superman and Batman are forced to take on Doomsday, Diana makes her Wonder Woman debut and joins the duo in taking him down.

But one of the most memorable moments during the showdown was when Diana gets punched by the killing machine. In the midst of the gruesome battle, Diana does the one thing that no one would while fighting the creature: She shrugged a punch off and smiled. The fact that Diana wasn’t bothered by the monster is one of the many reasons why she is such an amazing hero.

5 The Marvel/DC Crossover Everyone Saw

In real life, it is fun to see actors from competing universes together. With the many award shows that exist today, there is always the chance for actors of the DC and Marvel universe to be put together when, for example, presenting an award.

At one point, Gadot presented an award alongside Thor star Chris Hemsworth and it’s safe to say that the only thing fans saw was Thor and Wonder Woman being on stage together.

4 Don’t Make Batman Angry

While Steve and Diana are the main couple in the Wonder Woman mythology, the heroine also has a history with her fellow Justice League ally Batman. With some media versions depicting them more in a romantic spotlight, there has always been a deep connection between the two.

When they first shared the screen in Batman v Superman, that chemistry was felt instantly. Even if Bruce wouldn’t admit it to anyone, it wouldn’t surprise anyone if he would unleash hell upon anyone who dared to hurt Diana. If you live in the DC Universe and even think about trying to disrespect Wonder Woman, expect the Dark Knight to come your way with a fist of serious fury.

Any true Wonder Woman fan in the world loves her iconic invisible jet that has been in the comics as well as several media iterations. But as impressive as an invisible jet is on paper, what happens if someone forgets where they parked it?

It has always been hilarious how easy it is for Wonder Woman to remember where she put the jet despite it being invisible.

A popular saying is to just be yourself as there is no one else a person should try to be other than who they are. But if anyone had the option to be a superhero like Wonder Woman, who wouldn’t take that chance?

There are many things to love about Diana Prince, no matter which version it is. Whether it’s her beauty or her godlike strength, it’s wise to love Wonder Woman for all that she is.

If someone is foolish enough to underestimate Wonder Woman or neglect any of her amazing character traits, then they might end up with a punch to the face.
