Word on Bethesda’s plans, specifically, were quiet, though rumors and speculation pointed to an appearance from its upcoming sci-fi RPG, Starfield. Highlights from the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase include the surprise Sea of Thieves and Pirates of the Caribbean crossover, the gorgeous Forza Horizon 5, and Arkane’s Redfall. The lattermost is a solo or co-op FPS featuring four playable heroes, each with unique abilities. It will allow players to “choose [their] path across the island” of Redfall in order to “discover what caused this plague of bloodsuckers and put an end to the threat,” according to Bethesda. The result seems to be a blend of co-op shooters like Back 4 Blood and immersive sims like Arkane’s own Dishonored.
