YuGiOh! 10 Cards You Forgot Pegasus Had

The first-ever big bad of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime is Pegasus, season one’s major villain. He was a massive problem for Yugi to overcome, as his Millennium Eye essentially allowed him to cheat in every duel he competed in, as he was able to see his opponent’s hand.

This wasn’t his only advantage though, as he had a great deck. As the creator of Duel Monsters, he had access to cards that others didn’t, making him quite the battler. There are some cards he had that fans might have even forgotten about. All the below effects will be based on the anime version of the cards mentioned.

10 Toon Dark Magician Girl

Toon Dark Magician Girl is one of Pegasus’s favorite Toon Monsters, being a staple in just about every deck that he ever used. However, fans didn’t really get to see all that much of her.

The card wasn’t around in season one, meaning that she was only limited to appearances of Pegasus outside of his starring role, thus she can easily forgotten when discussing his cards.

9 Toon Gemini Elf

Toon Gemini Elf is another Toon monster that Pegasus used, primarily in the Pyramid of Light movie, which is why fans might not remember that Pegasus used the card.

While the regular variant of Gemini Elf is a normal monster, the Toon version has an extra effect that forces the opponent to discard a card every time the duo inflicts battle damage, which is never a bad benefit to have.

8 Solemn Judgement

Solemn Judgement is a trap card that viewers never actually get to see Pegasus use, though it is a card that he has in his deck. A strong one, at that.

Solemn Judgement can be activated when the opponent summons a monster or activates the effect of a spell or trap card. If the player sacrifices half of their life points, they’re able to destroy that card and negative its summon or activation, which is an incredibly powerful effect.

7 Toon Ancient Gear Golem

Toon Ancient Gear Golem is a card that Pegasus used during his duel in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, which was part of his strategy that won him the match.

Ancient Gear Golem cannot be special summoned and inflicts piercing battle damage to the opponent. In addition, spell and trap cards cannot be activated while it is attacking, meaning it is hard to negate its attack. Toon Ancient Gear Golem is probably forgotten because, as mentioned, it was used when Pegasus appeared in GX.

6 Toon Kingdom

Toon Kingdom is the upgraded version of Toon World that is seen being used by Pegasus in his GX deck, just like the aforementioned Toon Ancient Gear Golem.

While it is an upgraded version of the card, it behaves differently than its real-life counterpart. However, it still requires cards to be banished from the deck face-down when it is played and in order to save a Toon monster from destruction.

5 Shadow Toon

Pegasus uses Shadow Toon in GX, and it is a pretty simple card. If the player controls a Toon World card, they’re able to target one of their opponent’s monsters and inflict damage to their opponent’s life points equal to the monster’s attack points.

Besides only being used during the GX fight that has been mentioned a few times, it also just isn’t that strong of a card, which is likely why it would be forgotten by fans.

4 Shine Palace

Shine Palace is another less-than-stellar spell card that Pegasus uses, this time in the first season of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. While the card art does include Toon World, the card isn’t actually a Toon card.

The spell card simply increases the attack points of a chosen light monster by 700. All-in-all it’s really just a strange card that isn’t really relevant in any way, leading to it being forgotten.

3 Toon Goblin Attack Force

Toon Goblin Attack Force is, yup, the Toon version of Goblin Attack Force. Shocking to many, probably. Either way, it has the exact effect that one would expect. It must switch to defense mode after it launches an attack, and has the other normal Toon effects such as being able to attack directly if the opponent doesn’t control a Toon monster themselves.

Quite the unremarkable card, which makes sense for its spot on the list.

2 Ultimate Offering

Ultimate Offering is a card that Pegasus uses during his duel against Kaiba in the Pyramid of Light movie. It’s a strong card that allows both players to pay 500 attack points to have an additional summon during their turn.

Pegasus uses this card to flood the field with his Toon monsters, but Kaiba is able to very quickly gain the upper hand and win the duel after this card is activated.

1 Gorgon’s Eye

Gorgon’s Eye is another card that Pegasus used in season one that is forgotten often, as it didn’t have all that much of a presence in his decks.

Despite that, Gorgon’s Eye is a card that negates the effects of defense position monsters. That is already a pretty useless effect, but the lower power level of season one, in general, makes it quite questionable as to why Pegasus would ever need to use this card.
