If Disney Channel’s Halloween specials are the best, then their holiday episodes are a close second. The time from Thanksgiving into the New Year is a memorable window for young kids. Years later, those who watched these episodes still remember them fondly. Now, the episodes can all be rewatched on Disney+.

The music, the lights, and the Yuletide mishaps make for a worthy seasonal marathon. In increasing order of IMDb score, here are some of the best holiday episodes to view, from multiple eras of Disney Channel.

10 Hannah Montana: “Killing Me Softly With His Height” (6.3)

There is more than one Hannah Montana holiday episode, but the first one is the most memorable. After she thinks Oliver is the shallow one, Miley pulls a Ren Stevens and wants to diss a date because he is shorter than she is.

The costumes are cute, Miley learns another valuable lesson, and the episode title refers to the song “Killing Me Softly with His Song.”

9 Lizzie McGuire: “Aaron Carter’s Coming To Town” (7.2)

Although “Aaron Carter’s Coming to Town” does not take place during the Christmas holidays, it certainly looks the part. The famous episode’s title even parodies “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” (a song Hilary Duff covered on the Santa Claus Lane album a year after this episode).

Lizzie and Miranda are obsessed with Hilary’s real-life boyfriend, Aaron Carter. With Matt and Gordo in tow, the girls set out to sneak into Aaron’s music video shoot. Little do they know, Sam McGuire has connections and was going to set them up anyway. It’s too late for that when the tweens get busted, but Miranda and Lizzie get to dance on the “I Want Candy” music video after all.

8 Lizzie McGuire: “Xtreme Xmas” (7.4)

The Lizzie McGuire Christmas episode that is actually set during Christmas is great, too. Lizzie has one of her selfish streaks over the school’s big parade. Miranda is already off partying in Mexico City, so Lizzie enlists Gordo to make her chicken wire float the best one Hilldridge Junior High has ever seen.

With the help of a kindhearted elf and the wisdom of Matt McGuire, Lizzie wakes up and transforms to see the true meaning of Christmas. Don’t miss that Steven Tyler cameo at the end.

7 Even Stevens: “Heck Of A Hanukkah” (7.6)

Even Stevens was revolutionary in its holiday episode–“Heck of Hanukkah” is the only Hanukkah episode Disney Channel ever made. The Stevens aren’t a particularly religious group, but it turns out that Eileen is Jewish.

This mirrors Shia LaBeouf’s own life, as his mom is Jewish, too. Louis breaks all the Hanukkah presents in one of his grand schemes gone awry, and a mysterious Bubbeh (played by Donna Pescow, who is Eileen Stevens) shows Louis what his family would be like without him. Christopher Marquette plays Curtis Stevens, Louis’s replacement.

6 That’s So Raven: “Escape Claus” (7.7)

The That’s So Raven Christmas episode has a marvelous innocence and a timeless spirit. Raven gets a little too excited for her new Christmas present, a beautiful necklace she sees in one of her visions. Naturally, something has to go wrong, so Raven accidentally destroys the necklace she has opened prematurely.

This leads her on a wild goose chase with Chelsea and Eddie to the mall. The friends try to buy a new necklace, but they have to disguise themselves when Raven’s teacher appears nearby. Watch to see the ending, complete with Raven’s gorgeous vocals on “Silent Night.”

5 The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody: “Christmas At The Tipton” (7.9)

The Christmas episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody is a treasure. It is towards the end of season one and captures multiple Yuletide stories. Maddie and London are in a gift exchange, and Maddie rigs it so that London is set to give her an expensive present. London surprises Maddie by knitting a handmade gift instead.

Zack and Cody deal with the difficulties of their parents’ divorce as another young couple prepares to be parents for the first time. Fans will never forget that a modern-day Mary and Joseph birth the baby in the Tipton’s elevator, leaving the entire cast in wonder at the event.

4 Good Luck Charlie: “A Duncan Christmas” (8.3)

In addition to getting one of Disney’s precious few Christmas DCOMs, Good Luck Charlie has a Christmas episode in its third season. Teddy and Spencer are together in the story and are enjoying the festivities. Charlie doesn’t appear to like her grandma too much, but she’s not the only one.

The Duncan house is all decked out, Charlie witnesses her sister get back at a rude Santa, and Teddy and Spencer sing. Oh, and Amy and Grandma face off in a caroling contest at the Duncan home.

3 Good Luck Charlie: “It’s A Charlie Duncan Thanksgiving” (8.1)

Disney Channel Thanksgiving episodes are few and far between. “It’s a Charlie Duncan Thanksgiving” is a great way to kick off the holiday season. Bob Duncan’s dad is coming to dinner, and he’s not exactly the family’s favorite grandpa.

Everyone would rather PJ cook Thanksgiving dinner than Amy, and Teddy and Ivey plan to brave some early Black Friday shopping to get MyTabs (knock-off iPads). The season two episode captures a sweet spot of Disney Channel humor, reminding viewers that family gatherings can be happy fiascos.

2 Phil Of The Future: “Christmas Break” (8.4)

The Phil of the Future Christmas episode wasn’t televised as often as the others, so no need to fret if it doesn’t ring a bell. Keely learns that Phil first met her when the Diffys traveled back to 1999.

The 2121 family reminisces on Keely’s time as the Pickford Princess and recalls Pim breaking the star of the tree. The episode is an interesting mix of Christmas cheer and quirky Diffy fun.

1 Girl Meets World: “Girl Meets Home For The Holidays” (9.4)

Girl Meets Home for the Holidays occurs in the first season of Girl Meets World, and it is one of the best episodes for nostalgic Boy Meets World fans to watch. The Matthews family is reunited for the holidays, but Cory’s mom isn’t exactly appreciative of Topanga’s efforts.

Riley struggles with her complicated relationship with Shawn, who seems to relate much more to Riley’s best friend, Maya. The episode is a wonderful addition to a Boy Meets World Thanksgiving and Christmas marathon.
