10 Eastland (The Facts Of Life)

The Facts of Life is unique in setting in that takes place at a young women’s boarding school in New York. Edna Garrett is Eastland’s house mother, so she spends a lot of time with the students when they are at the dormitory. She isn’t perfect, but Mrs. Garrett tries to guide the girls through the difficulties of growing up.

Eastland is a nurturing place that serves as a suitable spot for both funny situations and more serious issues.

9 Hollywood Arts (Victorious)

Victorious may very well have been one of Nickelodeon’s attempts to capitalize on Disney Channel’s musical successes, but the sitcom put its own spin on artistic talent. The students at Hollywood Arts are there to develop their skills on a daily basis, with music and acting classes, not to mention performances.

Tori and Trina Vega attend school with eccentric students like Jade, Beck, Cat, Robbie, Andre, and Sinjin. Every day at Hollywood Arts brings something new and exciting, and the characters could break into song at any minute.

8 Seven Seas (The Suite Life On Deck)

Though some fans might like The Suite Life of Zack & Cody slightly better than The Suite Life on Deck, there’s something to be said for the spin-off’s creative concept. After several years living in The Tipton Hotel, it’s time for Zack and Cody to set sail and finish high school on the S.S. Tipton.

The twins and London continue maturing under the watchful eye of Mr. Moseby while interacting with a bunch of new characters. The cruise ship high school can have its surprisingly normal moments, but it’s also pretty luxurious to get to go relax by the pool after class.

7 Westdale (The Brady Bunch)

Westdale High from The Brady Bunch is a groovy school, even with Greg trying to be the big man on campus. Marcia joins him there in the fourth season and is worried about fitting in. She temporarily becomes an overly sophisticated caricature of herself, but Greg helps her get more comfortable with her new environment. Marcia throws herself into the experience and signs up for everything from ceramics to yoga to scuba club.

It’s exciting that Westdale offers its students so many options. As she figures out her path, Marcia can be shallow at times, but she learns to embrace being a Brady kid and can laugh when her brother’s volcano erupts while she’s in a meeting.

6 Westbridge (Sabrina The Teenage Witch)

Sabrina the Teenage Witch begins when Sabrina Spellman is turning 16, so high school is a big part of her life for several years of the supernatural sitcom. The young witch is divided between two realms, but her aunts want her to give everything her all.

Sabrina’s magical and mortal circles collide when she goes to Westbridge High School. Fans of the series have a soft spot for Mr. Pool, the science teacher Sabrina and Jenny have in the first season. From the lab to the lunchroom, Sabrina’s magic is definitely a temptation, and it’s hard not to play tricks on a principal like Willard Kraft.

5 Roosevelt (Sister, Sister)

Sister, Sister reunites Tia Landry and Tamera Campbell in their teen years. The twins have a lot of catching up to do after being separated at birth, and they get to live together as they learn about one another. As gorgeous as Ray Campbell’s Detroit-area house is, there’s another important setting for much of the show. Tia and Tamera attend Roosevelt High School. This is where they make friends, get dates, and go to tons of school dances and events.

Classes aren’t a central focus, but the halls are a great place to see the best ’90s twin style of all time. Roger is always wandering the halls, too, and fans can’t help but feel bad when Tia and Tamera tell him to go home all the time!

4 Piedmont (Smart Guy)

Smart Guy is one of the most high school-centered sitcoms of the 1990s because its main character, T.J., is a boy genius. He upgrades from elementary to high school and attends Piedmont with his brother and sister. T.J. and his siblings add a lot of character to the school, but it’s also a great place because of good teachers and useful programs, like a workplace internship that makes T.J. realize he isn’t ready to be an adult.

From the classroom to sporting events and other gatherings, Piedmont seems like a great place to be educated and still enjoy one’s youth.

3 Bayside (Saved By The Bell)

After the preliminary sitcom Good Morning, Miss Bliss, several key characters move out to Pacific Palisades, California, to take their spots at Bayside High for Saved by the Bell. The high school is one of the most famous in sitcom history, as it is home to Screech, Slater, Kelly Kapowski, Lisa Turtle, Jessie Spano, and of course, Zack Morris.

With the show’s very title being based on what happens in between classes, the school hallway is pretty important. The kids stick together and know that their principal, Mr. Belding, is never too far out of reach.

2 Bayside (That’s So Raven)

That’s So Raven was Disney Channel’s first 2000s sitcom to place its main characters at the high school level rather than middle school. Coincidentally (or perhaps not), Raven’s school in San Francisco has the same name as Saved by the Bell’s California school.

But the Disney Bayside is arguably better because it has a fashionable and funny psychic teen walking its halls. Raven adds so much personality to any environment she is in, and her unique talents make Bayside so much more than a school. Throughout the show’s run, Bayside students learn to think for themselves, develop their artistic and academic gifts, and laugh a little more.

1 John Adams (Boy Meets World)

John Adams High School is one of those settings that feels like another character. The high school is home to the Boy Meets World characters for most seasons of the series and it is a time for all of them to grow and go through many changes in their personal lives.

Cory and Topanga must make major decisions about their relationship, Shawn deals with a complicated family life and then meets Angela, and Eric is just trying to figure out who he is. It’s not only the hallway culture that matters at John Adams. The teachers and authority figures, like Mr. Feeny, Mr. Turner, and Mr. Williams, help mold the students’ minds and guide them through some of their most difficult situations.
