Many hunger-inducing movie scenes make viewers wish they could grab a plate and a place at a table, and there’s probably no better master at the art of the meal than Disney. From elegant banquets to cozy homecooked dinners, the studio has crafted some of the most decadent and delicious scenes, animated or otherwise.

There are tons of gorgeous and scrumptious-looking Disney entrees throughout their incredible list of films, but it takes more than a tasty dish to make a memorable meal. Fortunately, the house of mouse has gone above and beyond the call of duty to create some of the most mouth-watering feasts, even if only for the eyes.

Fru-Fru’s Wedding (Zootopia)

No wedding is complete without a great meal to follow the service, and from the looks of the dinner at Mr. Big’s place, it seems the shrew and his family are eating about as well as a successful mob boss can afford. It might only make a mouthful for a certain fox and rabbit, but it’s the comedic implications that earn the sequence a spot on the list.

The cute and comical scene of Nick Wilde delicately dining on a piece of shrew-sized wedding cake is absolutely adorable. And despite its diminutive size, the viewer can clearly tell that is one delicious slice of cream cake he’s nibbling on.

Pooh’s Hero Party (The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh)

Of course, not every Disney meal has to be an overtly lavish affair, sometimes a little cake and ice cream go a long way. While many might not be swayed by Pooh’s pot of Hero Hunny, the rest of the sticky-sweet spread definitely looks like something most younger viewers would easily enjoy.

It’s by no means a complicated setup, but neither is the movie. Sometimes a gathering of friends to celebrate can be just as sweet as that tantalizing cake and plate of cookies. it’s a perfect analogy for a certain silly old bear and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood.

Bella Notte At Tony’s (Lady And The Tramp)

Spaghetti might not be a life-changing dish for some, but it serves as the centerpiece in one of the most romantic gestures in Disney. There aren’t exactly a lot of amorous scenes over burgers and fries, after all. Food aside, “Bella Notte” simply wouldn’t be the same without a dog-sized plate of pasta, some candlelight, and some Italian accordion music.

The image is forever engraved in the Disney hall of fame, and who knows how many couples have tried the famous spaghetti kiss with varying levels of success. Either way, it wouldn’t be as iconic as it is without “the best spaghetti in town.”

Van Tassel’s Halloween Frolic (The Adventures Of Ichabod And Mr. Toad)

It might be Halloween, but the party at Van Tassel’s mansion is loaded with enough treats to fill three Thanksgiving dinners. If Ichabod’s plate is any indication, there’s more than enough delicious foods to go around. Even Ichabod might actually satisfy his greedy gullet with that much to enjoy.

Cake, ham, sandwiches, and all sorts of other festive treats are there to feast upon. While the designs and animations might be a tad simple compared to some of the others on the list, there’s definitely something to be said for this dinner’s variety.

Barbossa’s Banquet (Pirates Of The Caribbean: Curse Of The Black Pearl)

On one hand, it’s weird that a crew of deathless, cursed, skeleton pirates would have such a large amount of delicious-looking fresh food ready for Elizabeth and Barbossa’s consumption. On the other, it makes for one of the most intense scenes in Curse of the Black Pearl. Apples aren’t the only things on the menu either.

Suckling pig, fish, lobster, turkey, fruits, vegetables, and other delectables are seen strung across Barbossa’s dinner table before he tells the tale of the cursed Aztec gold. Elizabeth might be in her own living ghost story, but at least she’s wined and dined first.

Remy’s Recipes (Ratatouille)

Food really is the star of Pixar’s Ratatouille, and there are loads of different dishes prepared by everyone’s favorite “Little Chef” throughout the movie. From a roasted mushroom to a plate of ratatouille confit to satisfy a vicious food critic, Remy is an absolute master at his craft.

Even something as simple as a cheese omelet looks absolutely rich when prepared by this miniature master chef, but Pixar animation tends to give things quite the glow up. Even so, the dining scenes in this film will make any viewer hungry for more.

Tiana’s Cafe Job (The Princess And The Frog)

New Orleans is home to some of the greatest food on the planet, and the artists behind Disney’s Princess and the Frog definitely took that into account with Tiana’s culinary character arc. Every dish in this movie looks positively flavorful and filling, but the best of the best has to be from Duke’s Cafe at the beginning of the film.

A clear stand-in for Cafe Dumond in the French Quarter, the restaurant serves up all manner of decadent breakfast, specifically beignets with honey and sugar. Hungry viewers will definitely be glad to know that dishes like these are easy to make at home, with no shadow magic required.

Dunbroch Dinner (Brave)

There’s somewhat of a stereotype with medieval movies involving grand and glorious feast halls with tables full of roasted meats and various other period foods and drinks, and Brave is no exception. King Fergus, as any good warrior king should have, has a full feast of foods fit for a weekend of Highland Games.

Sausages, roast quail, haggis, and cream-covered cakes are just a few of the dishes available at Castle Dunbroch, and they all look absolutely hearty and delicious. Not exactly Remy’s cooking, but it’s still another healthy and hefty serving from Pixar.

Be Our Guest (Beauty And The Beast)

If there’s one Disney dinner scene that absolutely screams “iconic,” it’s “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast. Anyone who grew up with this ’90s Disney classic has wanted to take a seat at Belle’s table and enjoy the various enchanted plates of food. Many viewers might not know what beef ragout and cheese souffle actually are, but that didn’t stop them from drooling over their screens.

Presentation is everything in this number, and Disney’s artists and animators were definitely pushing the envelope. Watching Lumiere lead the enchanted objects and dancing kitchenware across the stage truly gives new meaning to the term “dinner and a show.”

Various (Feast)

One thing that can certainly be said about this adorable movie is that it lives up to its name. Disney’s short film, Feast, is the tale of an animated rescue dog that voraciously enjoys the various scraps and discarded junk food that falls from his owner’s table.

Only Disney can make something like leftover french fries or a single brussel sprout look enticing. Perspective is everything, after all. The more ravenous Winston becomes, the more the audience wants to join in on the little dog’s continuous eating.
