10 Famous Actors You Never Realized Were In A Lifetime Movie

It can be fun to look back and read the IMDb profile or Wikipedia filmography of famous actors. Many of them have had such expansive careers that it is nearly impossible to know of everything they have ever done.

Famous actors actually have been in a lot of Lifetime movies. Now, you probably already know some of them, like Lacy Chabert, Melissa Joan Hart, Kellie Martin, and Haylie Duff. These women are some of the “Queens of Christmas” and are well-known for that really cool aspect of their careers. Some stars’ Lifetime movies were not as publicized, though. Here are ten famous actors you never knew were in a Lifetime film (or more than one) at some point.

10 Danielle Panabaker

In 2005, Danielle Panabaker was in a Lifetime drama called Mom at Sixteen. This movie was a far cry from her more kid-oriented release that year, Disney’s Sky High. In Mom at Sixteen, Danielle plays the pregnant teenager, Jacey. Jacey’s mother forces her to keep the pregnancy a secret and give the newborn child up for adoption. However, Jacey does not want to put her child up for adoption. Then, her mother’s new plan is to pass the child off as her own, making Jacey the older sister.

Two years earlier, Panabaker was a teenager in Lifetime’s Sex & the Single Mom, during which the mom “preaches celibacy to her daughter,” who then becomes pregnant out of wedlock. However, Danielle did not reprise her role in the film’s 2005 sequel, More Sex & the Single Mom.

9 Kristen Bell

Gracie goes to court over the right to adopt her brothers, and she wins.

8 Kirsten Dunst

In a very dramatic poster, 15 and Pregnant tells us that “Tina Spangler is about to discover just how little she knows about life.” Kirsten Dunst plays Tina, the pregnant teenager.

It seems that her parents also have some life to figure out, though. They are having marriage problems and are not on the same page with an adoption plan for the baby.

7 Raven-Symoné

Raven-Symoné made a name for herself at a young age, and she is still a celebrated performer, actor, musician, and comedian. While still filming her successful Disney Channel show, Raven did a movie for Lifetime. For One Night (2006) is about a town torn by segregation.

Raven plays a teenager named Brianna who wants to bring about justice by ending the terrible tradition of two proms (one for Black students and one for white students).

6 Victor Garber

Victor Garber has been in more than one Lifetime movie. In 1999, he was in Invisible Child as Tom opposite Rita Wilson’s Annie. Annie thinks she has an extra child, and her husband Tom enables her, as do their children.

Garber went on to star in Deadly Appearances in 2000 with Wendy Crewson. Crewson played Joanne Kilbourn, and Garber played Inspector Philip Millard, the other half of Kilbourn’s detective team when the need arises. Then, in 2001, he played Sid Luft in the biopic Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows.

5 Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt was, indeed, in a movie that found its home on Lifetime. Too Young to Die? debuted on NBC in 1990 before being aired on Lifetime.

Pitt is not a nice guy in this one. He plays a hustler named Billy who brings a fifteen-year-old girl named Amanda into a world of prostitution and drugs. Billy manipulates Amanda into killing someone, which brings forth a debate about the death penalty. It is also based on a true story.

Molly Ringwald was in the 2006 Lifetime movie The Wives He Forgot. Ringwald is a lawyer named Charlotte St. John who falls in love with a married man.

However, she does not know he is married until his wives come forward. The man is a bigamist with amnesia, and Charlotte decides to defend his case in court. This film certainly has a one-of-a-kind premise.

3 Whoopi Goldberg

Whoopi Goldberg plays matriarch Viola Price in A Day Late and a Dollar Short, based on the book by Terry McMillan. In the 2014 film, Viola’s character has asthma and learns that her next attack is probably fatal.

She wants to get her affairs in order, but this is not easy with an estranged husband. It is especially difficult with a lot of troubled grandchildren.

2 Rob Lowe

Though you might not expect it, Rob Lowe is no stranger to Lifetime movies. His 2009 movie Too Late to Say Goodbye is a mystery about the death of his character Bart’s wife. Lowe was then in the 2012 film Drew Peterson: Untouchable, in which the titular character (Lowe) is implicated in his wife’s (Kayley Cuoco) death.

In 2013, Lowe played Florida District Attorney Jeff Ashton in Prosecuting Casey Anthony, obviously based on the events of the real trial. Two years later, he was in Beautiful & Twisted, a crime movie about the 2009 Novack murders. Rob Lowe also did a 2018 Lifetime film called The Bad Seed, in which his daughter might have something to do with her classmate’s death.

1 Jennifer Love Hewitt

Jennifer Love Hewitt has some experience over at Lifetime. She played Audrey Hepburn in the 2000 film The Audrey Hepburn Story.

Ten years later, she began her venture into The Client List. It started out as a TV movie about an Odessa, Texas prostitution scandal. The concept then became a TV show of the same name. Hewitt plays Samantha in the movie and Riley in the TV show.
