10 Good News For Jean
X-Men: Dark Phoenix was the conclusion to the mainline films in the series, but was ravaged by critics and fans alike for not staying true to the source material. Since then, the film has been used as an example of things studios shouldn’t do if they want their movies to be a success.
Good thing for Dark Phoenix is that it’ll be taken out of the spotlight somewhat since The New Mutants is currently supposed to be placed as the final X-Men film, meaning people will most likely forget how badly it sucked.

Those who first heard of the idea of The New Mutants and were instantly sold on the concept have been surprisingly loyal to the movie. That too despite the film having taken so many years to finally see the light of day.
It must be one of those diehard fans who created this meme, as it points toward the fact that the ardent supporters of The New Mutants overlooked movies that they could’ve seen any time but were lying in wait for their choice of film to be released. Let’s hope it turns out to be worth the wait.

Back then, the date of 2019 probably sounded far enough that it wasn’t too long a wait, but we’re now in 2020 and the film is only now about to premiere. There’s always going to be the long delay attached to The New Mutants even after it arrives.

Truth be told, kids of today will never be as gullible as Georgie from It was, since most of these kids are now more interested in video gaming and films rather than playing outside. That doesn’t mean they still can’t be fooled by Pennywise, though.
If the clown was to attack today, he’d have to entice his childish victim by luring them over with film tickets, which is what should do the trick. The New Mutants, being a superhero genre movie starring a young cast, should be the best chance for Pennywise to get his trick to work.

Magik is so far being promoted as the wild card of the bunch as she’s the only one shown to be proud of her record of killing people. However, this is most likely a facade to hide her true apprehension with what’s going on in the facility.
The same way, fans have put up a brave face to show that they’re both glad the film is being released and also that they’re prepared for another delay. However, that’s mainly an act as the prospect of The New Mutants being delayed yet again would mean all this renewed hype for its release was for nothing.

The one thing that fans didn’t expect was to worry about spoilers for the film, as the only talking point about it so far had been to do with whether it would even be shown to audiences. Now that the release is a go, spoilers are threatening to enter the picture.
