Welcome to Plathville follows the lives of Barry and Kim Plath and their nine children living on a farm in Georgia. Barry

Barry is the patriarch of the Plath family, and due to the negative experiences he and his wife had growing up, he wants to prevent his children from going through the same things. Because of this, they want to keep the negative aspects of the outside world away, so that their kids can simply enjoy being kids.

Both Moriah and Micah are very sociable, but it’s clear that Moriah feels out of touch. Fitting in is important to many teenagers, and it can be stressful when they’re unable to relate to their peers. Moriah feels alienated from her friends, which makes her uncomfortable. Although they understand why she doesn’t know about many things, it’s clear she resents having been so sheltered.

Fans addicted to the Plath family drama saw Ethan finally get fed with his parent’s treatment of his wife Olivia. He confronts them and tells them that if they continue to ostracize her, he will no longer be a part of their lives. It shows Ethan’s growth since the 1st season, where he originally tried to be the peacekeeper. In the second season finale, he chooses his marriage and happiness over the drama with his parents.
