Season 4 Is The Most Overrated Season

Ink Master fans are particularly fond of season 4 thanks to its strong final four. However, it’s this very reason that one Reddit user found to be a little suspicious, believing that the strength of the final four served only to highlight the weakness of the competition overall. TheRealestWeeMan wrote, “Season 4 is the most overrated season. Sure, the top 4 are really good, but that’s the flaw of this season.”

They went on to explain how “if you’re trying to show a competition show with 17 people and only 1/4 of those people are deserving to win the show, it’s not a good competition. This is especially true as you go through the final 9 through the final 5 because by then we as the viewers have seen that Scott/Sausage/Matti/Halo are the best and shouldn’t be going home unless they really screwed something up.”

Eric Was A Clear Finalist

Many talented artists have appeared on Ink Master throughout the show’s 13 seasons. This roster includes season 8’s Eric Gonzalez, whom one Reddit user was rooting for and even went as far as to claim should have made it to the finale.

Bring Back Human Canvas Jury

Most fans are in agreement that human canvas jury, a twist introduced in season 3 that allowed the human canvases to nominate a competitor for elimination, is one of the worst parts of Ink Master. Throughout the show’s 13 seasons, viewers have noticed that no matter what opinion the jury holds, the judges remain the sole deciders of which contestants end up in the bottom three.

Some Artists Shouldn’t Be Considered Ink Master

Most fans believe that the best tattoos inked on Ink Master were done by artists well deserving of the title. However, a niche subsect of fans believes that not every artist who’s appeared on the show can be called a master.

Fans Like The Taco Bell Sponsorship

Branded sponsorships across content platforms, whether they are exist on traditional television, streaming platforms, or social media, are often maligned by viewers who don’t appreciate the clunky product placements and overt commercialism. Both of her first two flash challenges were solid and I thought she’d win, but she wasn’t even mentioned by the judges when they were going over the standouts.”

They continued, “Also, I think she probably should’ve won on coverups. In the end, I guess it’s nbd, since it means she didn’t have a target on her back for being a really good competitor, but I wanted to see her get a little more kudos.”

No More Group-Themed Seasons

Ink Master fans enjoy the show for a variety of reasons. However, the best episodes of Ink Master tend to be those not in group-themed seasons.
