90 Day Fiancé Why Fans Think Natalie Has The Most Scripted Storyline

On 90 Day: The Single Life, Natalie Mordovtseva is ready to find new love, but many viewers believe that her storyline is almost entirely scripted. Natalie started season 2 by introducing viewers to her new life in Florida, and though she seemed enthusiastic, there was something about her segments that fans considered a bit “off.” For some time, viewers have accused the 90 Day Fiancé franchise of fabricating storylines and other aspects of the show. However, Natalie’s journey on The Single Life is one that fans find especially fake, and they are getting fed up.

Natalie was in a mismatched relationship with Mike Youngquist that was very troubled, and viewers watched it unfold throughout her time on 90 Day Fiancé and 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Due to the constant conflicts, some fans actually found Mike and Natalie’s scenes hard to watch. For years, they tried to make things work, but eventually, Mike and Natalie announced their breakup during the Happily Ever After? Tell-All. Now, on The Single Life, Natalie has been partying in Florida, showing off her new home, and starting to date again. Her debut on the spin-off wasn’t very well-received, and many fans find her storyline cringe-worthy so far.

In the first episode of season 2, Natalie tried to meet some locals, after getting encouragement from her “friend.” Viewers thought that Natalie seemed nervous and weird, and the locals didn’t appear to be too interested in her. The entire scene felt fabricated and forced. In fact, it stuck out like a sore thumb. It’s understandable that the show would need to script some aspects of the story to allow things to play out in a way that makes sense to the audience. However, Natalie’s storyline on The Single Life seems far more awkward than the storylines of her castmates, and there are reasons why Natalie comes off as especially fake.

For one, Natalie has just barely moved to Florida when her story picks up on The Single Life, so it makes sense that she doesn’t really know anyone. Anybody who has relocated knows that it isn’t easy to make new friends, and that’s exactly what viewers are seeing on the show. Natalie’s activities and segments possibly feel scripted because they are, as she doesn’t have an established life in Florida yet. This means that all of her interactions have to be pre-planned by production.

There have also been reports from fans who live in Florida, who have stumbled across Natalie’s scenes while they were being filmed. They claim that scenes as simple as “snarky” Natalie pulling out of a driveway were reshot several times, and it’s hard to take her story seriously in light of the level of alleged manipulation.

90 Day: The Single Life season 2 is off to a rocky start, and Natalie’s segments aren’t helping the show to win over fans. Between the controversial casting decisions, hyper-sexual content, and scripted scenes, this season is already getting a lot of criticism. It seems like Natalie’s storyline will be ripped apart by viewers who have an eye for contrived plots.
