One of the biggest two changes coming to Pokemon Go are Shadow Zapdos and the new June Research Breakthrough encounters. Players will need to hunt down Giovanni and battle him to battle and save Shadow Zapdos all month. Starting on June 17th, Giovanni will have his Shadow Pokemon switched to something new. For the June Research Tasks, players will be rewarded with a Clamperl encounter and a free Remote Raid Pass. Those are the staples that will stay throughout the month.
