Prior to its Tuesday premiere, America’s Got Talent released an early look at contestant Danila Bim, and we’re about to share lots of fun facts about her life. During the show, Danila instantly blew viewers’ minds, just like magician Klek Entos did. She amazed Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell, and she also dazzled the audience. Her audition stood out because she dangled by her hair in a stunning aerial performance. The judges labeled her “incredible” and “spectacular” and said they’d never seen anyone like her before. Fans are curious about the woman that Howie called a “hairialist.”

America’s Got Talent has seen a wide range of circus performers throughout its 16 seasons. Sofie Dossi stood on her hands and shot a bow and arrow with her feet. Sasha Lyutyy balanced a perch pole on his head while his wife Elena Sanders performed tricks tens of feet in the air. Duo Transcend managed to come in second on America’s Got Talent: The Champions season 2, thanks to their aerial trapeze act. Nonetheless, Danila brought something new to the table with her hair suspension act. “Is that just by the hair?” Howie said in astonishment, while Heidi declared, “She must have really good roots.”

She’s performed with the Ringling Bros, Palazzo, and Cirque du Soleil. With Cirque du Soleil, she first premiered her hair suspension act, “Mirage,” during the 2017 Volta show. Like fellow contestant Storm Large, she started her career at a young age. Danila began taking dance classes when she was 10 and graduated from Santo Andre’s School of Dance. For the last 20 years, she’s been performing as an acrobat in over 30 countries. In 2020, she participated in the creation of “The Velvet Crane,” a circus show that “seeks to bring collaborative visions to life.” The production created “Rise,” the world’s first socially distanced outdoor performance venue.

The Brazilian performer also plays trombone, but playing the horn doesn’t stop her from staying up in the air. As seen on her @danila_bim Instagram, Danila can make music on her instrument while she’s upside down. Aside from circus acts and performing on America’s Got Talent season 16, she is a self-taught bag maker who designs and creates knapsacks for herself and her friends. She also has a puppy named Milo, and according to her website, she enjoys taking him on walks. Danila is also fond of painting and eating. At her website, she offers a range of merchandise, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, and pillowcases, all of which have drawings of herself performing on them.

Her audition has reached over a million views on YouTube. Danila stood out by hanging from her hair and also due to her graceful presentation. She has a long way to go if she wants to make it far during America’s Got Talent competition. However, she is already very memorable.
