While the news hit yesterday that Super Mario Bros.-themed content would be introduced in Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ February 25 update, it turns out the patch will also include a slew of other seasonal treats. Fans got a look at the first part of the game’s upcoming update during the most recent Nintendo Direct. Fans will be able to stop into Nook’s Cranny, browse through Nook’s shopping app, or head to the Able Sisters’ store to pick up a variety of items celebrating three different upcoming holidays.

The greatly anticipated showcase returned in mid-February after nearly a year and a half and showed off a short video of Animal Crossing characters masquerading as the well-known Italian plumber and his crew. The Mario-themed crossover had been announced for some time, but previous details on the topic had been vague. Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct revealed that players would not only be able to enjoy furniture fit for the Mushroom Kingdom and fun virtual costumes but also that the update coming February 25 would let players set up a functioning warp pipe to help with island transportation.

All of this comes as a part of the celebration surrounding Super Mario Bros. 35th anniversary, but Japan’s official Nintendo website expanded on the Nintendo Direct announcement from yesterday. Alongside the Mario gear, other new content will be coming that will be dedicated to Girl’s Day, Pi Day, and St Patrick’s Day. The first of these, a yearly holiday celebrated in Japan, is Girl’s Day which takes place on March 3. From February 25 through March 3 Animal Crossing players can pick up two unique items: a traditional doll set and a blossom lantern. Following soon after is the delicious-sounding, math-centric celebration of Pi day which hits, of course, on March 14. To commemorate the date that coincides with the first few digits of the mathematical concept, be sure to pick up a specially baked Pi pie from March 1 to March 14.

Arguably saving the best for last, Animal Crossing’s February update will also contain items for the game’s Shamrock Day festivities. The St. Patrick’s Day-inspired fun comes to Animal Crossing: New Horizons on March 17, but players will be able to order decorations like the Shamrock Door Plate and Shamrock Rug starting March 10. Do not forget to stop by the Able Sisters shop with a helping of Shamrock Soda in hand to purchase some holiday clothing as well.

There will be a lot to celebrate in Animal Crossing: New Horizons come March and after a slew of fun, smaller holidays like Festivale and Valentine’s Day, it seems the game is not repeating some of its past seasonal missteps. On top of all of this, the game is also letting players run around as Mario starting March 1, which is sure to grab players less interested in the other virtual observances.
