Animal Kingdom is a show that features characters who can range from brilliant to dangerous. Those traits would help them in the Hunger Games.

TNT’s Animal Kingdom is one of the highest-rated crime dramas out there, and its fans are obsessed with the dynamic and infatuating characters. There’s a lot of violence and drama in this show, and the Cody family aren’t strangers to conflict. If they found themselves being chosen as tributes for The Hunger Games, they’d all actually have a pretty great shot.

Of course, there can only be one victor, and there are some skills that some are better at than others in the arena. It’s time to stack these characters against each other and see who would be most likely to be victorious in the games.

10 Least Likely: Nicky

Fans love to hate and hate to love Nicky. As much as she tried to be part of the Cody gang, she didn’t have what it takes. She could try and make some allies, but she wouldn’t be able to defend herself.

She would probably give it a valiant effort, but in the arena, Nicky doesn’t have the combat skills or weaponry knowledge. She is definitely smarter than people give her credit for, but she also isn’t the most intelligent – and her wits would only get her so far.

9 Adrian

Audience members love Adrian, and he and Deran totally have a special place in the hearts of fans. Unfortunately though, Adrian is as sweet as pie and would get eaten alive in the arena.

He could hold a weapon, but he’d be afraid to strike. He’d actually be a lot like Peeta, so he could have a chance, but it’s unlikely among the other cruel and strong characters of this show.

8 Janine

If there was a winner for controlling tributes, Janine would probably take that crown. However, there isn’t, and it’s clear that Janine isn’t great at actually being the one to do things.

She would lose in any hand-to-hand combat, and she also isn’t very skilled at weaponry. Maybe young Janine could have a fighting chance, but her intelligence would only get her so far.

7 Baz

Baz would probably think he’d win the games, but this would ultimately get the best of him. Baz is arrogant and selfish, and his ego would get in the way of doing the smartest thing.

He’s cruel and tough, but he isn’t even the best when it comes to combat. He would be outgunned and outsmarted by many others that found themselves in the games.

6 Lucy

This is a character who definitely deserved better. Lucy is fierce, determined, and as smart as they come. She would be the snake in the grass that would know exactly when to strike.

She’s self-sufficient, too, and wouldn’t need allies to keep her skin in the game. Of course, Lucy isn’t the strongest, and her emotions might just overpower her in the arena. She would give it her all – but it likely wouldn’t be enough.

5 Deran

Deran definitely doesn’t get enough credit. He’s smart as a whip and has a lot of strength behind him. His only downfall in the games would be his big heart, and his unwillingness to be cruel.

He’d make it far by staying on the sidelines and surviving, but it’s unclear that he has what it takes to make that final kill to win it all. People would be rooting for him, though.

4 Mia

Mia was inarguably one of the worst and most hated characters that this series has presented so far. She’s as cruel and manipulative as they come, and that’s why she’s had a fighting chance in the arena.

If Lucy is a snake, Mia is a viper, and her competitors wouldn’t even know what hit them. She’s small, but she’s tough, and she’d be willing to do anything to win.

3 Craig

Craig is a big guy, and frankly, no one would ever challenge him to hand-to-hand combat. If there are no weapons in the arena, everyone might just put their money on Craig.

He’s also way smarter than most give him credit for. However, he isn’t always the most patient or observant person. With these slight downfalls, Craig would make it far, but might not be able to hold on until the end.

2 Joshua

Fans already know that J is smarter than Mia, so he instantly gets a leg up. Josh might actually be the smartest on the show, and he’s proved his uncles (and grandmother) wrong more than once.

He’s not as cruel as Baz or Pope, but he also doesn’t really care about much. He wants to prove himself, and he’d be willing to do a lot to come out on top. Plus, he can definitely hold his own.

1 Most Likely: Pope

If there’s one character that’s both totally dangerous and totally smart, it’s Pope. He would be willing to do anything, like Mia, but he’s also far more patient and intelligent.

No fan out there would want to get in Pope’s way, and they’re not even convinced he feels pain. Pope has a soft side, but he would be in total survival mode if he was in the arena – and would probably be victorious.
