Apex Legends Best Drop Locations For Kings Canyon in Season 8

When it comes to Apex Legends, the game is always trying to find fresh ways to change things up, and no better way to do it than with a large ship crash landing in King’s Canyon in Season 8. With Fuse’s ship’s crash landing, King’s Canyon’s map took a significant hit with some considerable changes to the layout. That means dropping into the different zones has taken a turn, and new areas will influence players’ landing spots.

Season 8 has gotten a new character called Fuse to join Legends’ current roster, and he is no slouch. Fuse has explosions on the mind and aims to blow up absolutely everything with his Knuckle Cluster, Grenadier, and bringing The Motherload with him too. Fuse can cause a lot of damage in a small amount of time, and his explosive ability can change group dynamics. When Fuse is around, getting caught in the fire from his Motherload ability can spell a quick end to any player.

What Are The Best Drop Locations In King’s Canyon In Season 8 for Apex Legends

The most significant change is the new area called Crash Site and the yellow hazmat-looking mini-areas spawning at Spotted Lake. Artillery has also taken a huge hit where the back end of the area got ruined and now has multiple entryways opening up. Some old favorite locations still have lots of traffic, such as the Gauntlet or the Capacitor areas, but the Crash Site has a ton of loot at multiple levels that not many players go to, making it ripe for the pickings. It also makes it easy to go towards Spotted Lake and clean up after that, as traffic is low for now. Speaking of Capacitor, next door at the Hydro Dam and Repulsor areas, they are getting less populated due to the crash and Artillery itself to make it the second-best location.

As a final option, the Pit has gone through a bit of shakeup and makes it a bit more challenging to get to, but it is easier to loot. If high combat areas are preferred, the Market is still a favored spot along with the Bunker, an old combat favorite. A surprising new combat-heavy location has been the Rig, where more players are finding the open area’s value and multiple enclosed buildings on the map’s edge. For an added challenge, the radar area south of the Repulsor is always heavy, with players looking to eliminate each other and has a lot of prime loot.
