There has been plenty of analyzing and speculation surrounding Spider-Man: No Way Home’s second trailer after its big release. While Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are rumored to be in the film, the duo was not featured in the new trailer. However, one fan created an image that shows how a certain shot could look in the final cut of the film.

The thrilling new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home focused heavily on the villains, as Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx’s Electro, and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin were all featured through brief, yet exciting shots that tease the multiversal madness that awaits. Out of all of the shots in the new Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, though, there is one that stands out the most.

An artist on Instagram known for their Marvel edits seems to have taken a shot from the trailer and recreated how it may look in the film when it premieres in theatres next month. The shot is of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man leaping towards Lizard, Sandman, and Electro in a construction yard. However, Lizard and Electro seem to be leaping nowhere near Holland’s Spidey but rather towards something invisible. Therefore, the artist (@artoftimetravel) took it upon themself to add Maguire and Garfield’s versions of Spider-Man to the shot.

Fans immediately believed that Maguire and Garfield’s versions of Spider-Man were edited out of the trailer on purpose to keep their appearances a mystery. However, some theorize it could be Doctor Strange who is edited out (with more definitely hoping it’s Garfield and Maguire). This wouldn’t be the first time Marvel has edited certain shots to save any exciting reveals for the final cut, as they changed or included multiple shots in Avengers: Endgame trailers ahead of the film’s big premiere.

Spider-Man: No Way Home has been one of the most secretive yet popular MCU projects to date, as rumors have been brewing for months about the return of previous Spider-Man actors (aided by the introduction of the multiverse that has been building in other MCU content like Loki). Whatever the final cut may reveal to audiences, there is no doubt Spider-Man: No Way Home will be one of the MCU’s biggest films to date, as director Jon Watts has confirmed the film will be Avengers: Endgame level epic.

Spider-Man: No Way Home picks up where Far From Home left off, as Peter Parker seeks Doctor Strange’s help in restoring his identity after the world finds out who Spider-Man really is. Through the use of this magic, Parker must then deal with multiversal consequences. The upcoming MCU also stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Jamie Foxx as Electro, J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, Benedict Wong as Wong, and Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson.
