Bachelor Clay Harbor & Tyler Cameron Hint They Wont Return on Paradise

After appearing in The Bachelor franchise more than once, Tyler Cameron and Clay Harbor have decided to try their hand at finding love off-screen and not on the show. Tyler only appeared on the franchise once on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette but made a small appearance on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor during a one-on-one date Matt had with Katie. Clay appeared on Becca Kufrin’s season, as well as season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise. The show may have given them these amazing platforms, but they are no longer looking for love on-screen.

Viewers met Tyler for the first time when he was competing for Hannah’s heart on the show. Even though the two didn’t work out, they have remained friends since the show finished airing. They even spent the beginning months of quarantine together, alongside Matt, at Tyler’s home in Jupiter, Florida. Clay was introduced to the audience while appearing on Becca’s season. He left early due to a wrist injury and could not continue his journey with Becca. Clay later appeared on BIP, but the relationship he cultivated did not end up lasting a season.

During an interview with Us Weekly, Tyler and Clay opened up about whether or not they would return to The Bachelorette to find love. “It’s been fun. I’ve had some great experiences, met a lot of good friends and, you know, I’m 34 now. … I’ve got a lot of other things that I’m working on,” Clay admitted while promoting his partnership of a nutrition brand alongside Tyler. “Same thing,” the 28-year-old said in response to Clay, adding, “I want to focus on myself right now. You know, I did that. It was a great experience, but there are things I want to accomplish now.” Not only would Tyler and Clay not return to The Bachelorette, but they also would not consider joining Bachelor in Paradise either.

After appearing on BIP for its sixth season, the football player doesn’t see himself returning to the beach in Mexico. “I wouldn’t go back to Paradise … it’s not in the cards,” he admitted. Tyler added, “I live in paradise. Jupiter, Florida, is paradise. So, I’m good right here.” Nonetheless, Tyler and Clay remain close with many people in Bachelor Nation. Tyler is still good friends with Matt James, whose season of The Bachelor ended on Monday. Clay also revealed his cousin will be competing on Katie Thurston’s upcoming season of The Bachelorette. “He’s hilarious. I just told him to be himself, make her laugh and, you know, just go out there and have fun,” he said. “You have to kind of wear your heart on your sleeve a little more than you would in the real world.” As for their current dating lives, both plan on keeping that part of themselves private.

Both Tyler and Clay have been apart of Bachelor Nation long enough to know when it is time to throw in the towel when it comes to appearing on shows. Clay’s season is so far gone, it isn’t likely they would bring men from his season on to BIP. Tyler may still have a shot as viewers haven’t seen him compete for anyone besides Hannah B. Besides, Tyler and Clay are focusing on putting their career accomplishments on display rather than their dating lives.
