Most Bachelor franchise fan favorites want to come back for more reality TV action. However, these cast members are definitely “one and done” alums.

Many The Bachelor stars have made an impact with fans, and it’s time to talk about one-time cast members who don’t want to come back for other franchise appearances. In most cases, cast members leverage their popularity for more appearances on the spin-offs. However, there are some Bachelor Nation fan-favorite contestants who decided that their first taste of the franchise would be their last.

Most cast members are eager to appear on other franchise shows like Bachelor in Paradise, and some of them are even open to being the next Bachelor or Bachelorette leads. Becoming a regular in The Bachelor franchise can be very lucrative for the show’s alums. This is why it’s no surprise that many cast members jump at the chance to return.

However, sometimes, popular cast members decide to turn down chances to appear on other franchise shows. They don’t always leave Bachelor Nation entirely, and often still find ways to profit off of their one-time appearances. Fans may wish to see these contestants come back to the franchise, but they’re probably not going to be returning any time soon.

Sharleen Joynt

Fans will recall that Sharleen appeared on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of The Bachelor, and though the frontrunner sent herself home, many fans think that Juan Pablo would have proposed to her in the end if she’d stayed on the show. Unfortunately for fans, the sophisticated opera singer never appeared on any of the show’s spin-offs. Sharleen blogs about The Bachelor franchise, but that’s the closest she’s come to returning to Bachelor Nation.

Olivia Caridi

On Ben Higgins’ The Bachelor season, Olivia made an early impact. Ben gave Olivia his First Impression rose on night one. However, she was quickly framed as the villain of the season, and the resulting online bullying and harassment apparently had an adverse impact on Olivia’s mental well-being. It’s no surprise that she stayed away from the franchise after that, though she has since gotten apologies from Ben and former host, Chris Harrison.

Bekah Martinez

On Arie Luyendyk’s season of The Bachelor, outspoken Bekah was an instant fan favorite, and though the Bachelor deemed her too young for him, Bachelor Nation was eager to see more of Bekah. Initially, she seemed like a lock for Bachelor in Paradise, but fate intervened. Bekah fell in love with someone outside of Bachelor Nation and got pregnant with her first child, which obviously precluded her from appearing on BIP. She has a podcast focused on the franchise, but she won’t be returning to the show.

Hannah Ann Sluss

Bachelor Peter Weber is probably the most indecisive lead ever, and after getting engaged to Hannah Ann in the finale of his season, the pilot changed his mind and broke off the engagement to pursue Madison Prewett. Peter’s flip-flopping made viewers back Hannah Ann, who is now more popular than ever. Though the model and influencer appeared on another ABC show (The Ultimate Surfer), Hannah Ann is unlikely to ever return to Bachelor Nation.

Sarah Trott

Fans took a shine to Sarah Trott on Matt James’ season due to her heartbreaking backstory. Her father was diagnosed with ALS and Sarah took on the role of his full-time caregiver. Ultimately, being away from her father was too difficult for Sarah, and she left the show to return home. Since then, Sarah has used her Bachelor platform to raise awareness, and many fans have great respect for her. However, because of the situation with Sarah’s father, she probably won’t be appearing on any Bachelor Nation shows any time soon.

In The Bachelor franchise, many contestants have made a splash, and most of them use that as an opportunity to get cast again. However, these cast members felt that one-and-done was good enough for them. Although these relatable Bachelor Nation contestants may not have left the franchise for good, there will be no repeat performances.
