Fans have become increasingly inspired by the chef, and according to Rachel’s Bravo profile, she attended the Culinary Institute of America. However, she feels that she picked up most of her cooking skills by herself. She later apprenticed at the Quatro Passi restaurant in Nerano, Italy. The Below Deck star has boasted that she can take on a wide range of cooking styles and dishes, from molecular gastronomy to gluten-free pasta. While she likes to practice yoga, according to social media, she comes across as severely stressed at times, which leads to some great one-liners.

While speaking on the Poplitically Incorrect podcast, Rachel touched on her drinking, mentioning that she does not drink at home, and the cast just overreacted and was being “uptight.” She said she did not want to “get drunk and get deported.” While it would make for some good headlines, it was not her goal.

The chef revealed that she felt she got “singled out a lot” as well. The host, Jacques, asked if Rachel was single now since he had done some research. Rachel confirmed she was single, saying, “I am” and listeners let out a shocked gasp. The reality star divulged that it took her five months to get back home, and in a desperate attempt to return to Italy after four months, she got back on a boat. The couple only saw one another briefly before the boa asked her to stay on in the galley saying, “Meanwhile, my boyfriend was like ‘good job,’ and I was like, hey I’m making money, who knows what’s going to happen. He didn’t like that idea very much. And when an Italian tells you not do something you better not do it.” The couple was rocky to begin with, according to the super chef.

Rachel recently went out in a blaze of glory but soon returned with her tail between her legs. After her tantrum, she recognized what the film crew ignored: the coronavirus was coming. During a live-tweeting session, she revealed, “The signs were there… but we kept filming.” The chef’s main concern was her Italian boyfriend, who was stuck in France and trying to get home. Now it looks like Rachel will only have to look after herself.
