Warning! Potential spoilers for Avengers: Tech-On #4 by Marvel Comics below

Marvel’s Black Panther’s Iron Man armor gets a closer look in a brand new cover by Marvel Comics. In a world where the Avengers lost their powers and seemed helpless to fight against an Infinity Stone-powered Red Skull, Tony Stark built the superteam custom mech suits to keep fighting on. T’Challa received armor that’s part Black Panther, part Iron Man, and all awesome.

Avengers: Tech-On is a high-octane series imaging the Marvel Universe where the greatest heroes on Earth all lost their powers and abilities. In the comic, the Avengers defeat Thanos and destroy the Infinity Stones for good. However, unbeknownst to them, the Infinity Stones still gave off power after they were turned into dust. Red Skull managed to use the remnants of the stones, known as Infinity Mirror Shards, to depower superheroes across the Globe. To stop the villain, Tony Stark gave his Avengers teammates custom Iron Man-like suits that emulated their previous powers and allowed them to keep fighting against whatever threats were thrown their way.

The Avengers have adjusted well to having no powers, as they’ve quickly learned to use the Iron Man armor to take on a series of villains, including Red Skull, Venom, and the strongest variant of Loki. But, things are about to get much more challenging, as the group is set to take on an army of Ultron’s in Japan – which will test how comfortable the Avengers are in their new suits. In a new cover by Eiichi Shimizu for Avengers: Tech-On #4 by Jim Zub, Jeff “Chamba” Cruz, and VC’s Travis Lanham, Black Panther’s Iron Man armor is spotlighted.

Black Panther’s Iron Man armor is awesome. The design is sleek, keeps key elements of the hero’s original look, and adds new features that make the look feel fresh. Losing his powers might have affected Black Panther less than some of his other heroes (for example, Steve Rogers was turned back into his smaller previous self). Still, the Iron Man armor certainly helps puts him back near his old power level. Check out the full synopsis for the issue below.

The Marvel-Sentai sensation continues! While cracks begin to form between Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, an army of Ultrons descends on Japan, and only the Iron Avengers can stop them! AVENGERS TECH-ON is a tokusatsu-inspired action-adventure series produced in partnership with Bandai Namco of Japan, written by Jim Zub (Uncanny Avengers, Champions) and illustrated by Jeff “Chamba” Cruz (Venom: The End). Collect the S.H.Figuarts action figures and read the comic!

For those who want to see Black Panther’s Iron Man armor in action alongside his fellow Iron Avengers, the fourth issue of Avengers: Tech-On arrives in comic book stores on November 3, 2021.
