One of the funniest characters in South Park is Butters Stotch. He has been in the series since the first season but didn’t become a major player until the sixth season, when he became closer to the main characters, Stan, Kyle, and especially Cartman.

Though Cartman treats Butters terribly, the two together is always a recipe for a lot of laughs. While Butters is a great character on his own, innocently out of touch with the world, his best moments are often found when he’s being pushed into the next harebrained scheme by Cartman.

The other kids perform liposuction surgery on Butters, leading to him being grounded. When Butters, Kyle, and Stan arrive at City Wok to show off Butters’ weight loss, the children learn that the entire town has rallied against Jared, misunderstanding that Jared wants them to have personal assistants and not a life-altering virus. The children eventually clear things up, but only receive a measly $15 for their wasted efforts.
