Connor Paolo Movies & TV Shows Where You Recognize The Gossip Girl Star

Connor Paolo is best known for his role in teen drama Gossip Girl, but here are the other movies and TV shows you may recognize him from. New York City-born Connor Paolo was just 12 years old when he was cast in his first role as a pre-teen suspect in a murder-rape case in a 2002 episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit titled “Juvenile”. He made his big-screen debut playing a younger version of Kevin Bacon’s character in Clint Eastwood’s critically acclaimed drama Mystic River and followed up with a recurring part as Travis O’Connell on long-running soap One Life To Live in 2004.

Connor Paolo’s next movie role was playing a younger version of Colin Farrell’s title character in Oliver Stone directed epic Alexander. He collaborated with Stone again with World Trade Center playing Steven McLoughlin, the son of Port Authority cop John McLoughlin (played by Nicholas Cage) which earned him a Best Supporting Young Actor nomination at the Young Artist Awards. Paolo returned to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in a season 7 episode titled “Web” playing a teen embroiled in a case inspired by the real-life case of Justin Berry.

His other early film roles include playing small-town high-schooler Warren Hardesky in indie drama Snow Angels, troubled teenager Ross in Favorite Son and Damon in sports comedy The Winning Season. Of course, most people know Connor Paolo for playing Eric, the brother of Serena van der Woodsen on The CW’s wildly popular Gossip Girl – a supporting role that saw him appear in 53 episodes over the show’s six-season run.

In between playing Eric van der Woodson on Gossip Girl, Connor Paolo dipped his toes into the horror genre with roles in Camp Hell as a teenager named Jack at a religious summer camp and as young vampire hunter Martin in Stake Land. His next big TV role came playing Charlotte Clarke’s (Christa B. Allen) boyfriend Declan Porter on the ABC drama-thriller Revenge. After Declan’s death in the second season of Revenge, Paolo appeared alongside Alycia Debnam-Carey in the social media horror movie Friend Request and reprised his role as Martin in sequel The Stakelander.

More recently, in 2017, Paolo had a starring role in the comedy series Business Doing Pleasure as Jason – a man who has the unenviable job of working at his mother-in-law’s sex toy company. Connor Paolo’s most recent part was playing Ethan, a seemingly innocent customer service representative for a tech company in an episode of sci-fi anthology series Electric Dreams titled “Safe And Sound.”
