It would also highlight the fact that the characters need to go through any means necessary to survive, and could be seen traveling across rivers to find supplies.

Critical reception to Days Gone was mixed with some positives, but Redditor wsbfan1123 has an idea how a sequel would appeal to more people. They think it should be “a co-op open-world game. Give me State of Decay with a story.”

There’s little argument against the fact that shooters that sell the most are those that feature multiplayer options. The idea of turning a sequel to Days Gone purely into a co-op game does have promise because it would attract gamers who love party playthroughs.
