Whether it’s dealing with her eclectic co-workers at the tech company SPRQPoint, where Zoey manages a team of coders which includes her best friend Max (Skylar Astin), her crush Simon (John Clarence Stewart), and her demanding boss Joan (Lauren Graham), or coping with her dying father Mitch (Peter Gallagher) alongside her angelic mother Maggie (Mary Steenburgen) and her older brother David (Andrew Leeds), Zoey’s suddenly musical life grows increasingly complicated. Luckily, Zoey has her wise, genderfluid neighbor Mo (Alex Newell) to straighten her out.

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’s musical performances comprise both singing and elaborate dance numbers choreographed by Mandy Moore, who is also a producer.
